Landstuhl club sports new look, services

The U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern and 435th Air Base Wing are
working together to mark the celebration of November as the Month of
the Military Family.

The Rheinland-Pfalz Quilt Guild promoted their organization and quilts
at the Landstuhl Library Oct. 15. The event was free and open to the
public. Members of the guild provided the library with a beautiful
display of quilted items ill-ustrating a variety of techniques as the
Landstuhl Library featured books about quilting.
For the past 18 years, Americans have observed November as Native
American Indian Heritage Month. Many servicemembers take this time to
recognize the contributions of Native American Indians to American
history and military culture through observances and events held on
military bases around the world.
