Department of Army civilians and family members in the community offer
excellent support to our community and Soldiers. Part of what lends to
this experience is the multitude of resources available to help
civilians and families through difficult times. Research has shown that
when building successful suicide prevention in a community, resiliency
factors are the key to success.
A Skin Protection Awareness Program will be presented Tuesday on
Ramstein. The 2008 U.S. Army Europe and U.S. Air Forces in Europe event
takes place 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Nightingale Theater. With the help of
slide presentations, speakers will let the audience know why it is so
important to take good care of the skin.
The Unnerhaus Culture Club sponsors its 11th Jazz Music Festival July 25 to 27 at Nanstein Castle in Landstuhl.
Lichtenberg Castle near Kusel is the stage for an herbal market 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Four times in summer, inline-skaters can enjoy car-free routes in
Kaiserslautern. The city starts its skate night season 8:30 to 10 p.m.
