Every third weekend in July, the union community of Schönenberg-Kübelberg celebrates its romantic lake fest at Ohmbachsee. The event starts today and continues through Sunday. The lake turns into a big natural stage with lights, music and shows. Four stages are put up around the lake, from where mostly regional bands and dance groups entertain visitors.

Sweden starts no smoking rules for restaurants, cafés, pubs

Since June 1, guests in restaurants, cafés and pubs in Sweden can enjoy smoke-free air. According to the German automobile club ADAC, smoking is prohibited in all facilities, where drinks and meals are served. Smoking is still allowed in the outdoor areas of these places.
