Fasching events take place each weekend until Ash Wednesday, Feb. 25.

The German automobile club ADAC presents a schedule of winter and spring holidays in other European countries. Travelers aware of these official holidays can avoid unpleasant surprises such as standing in front of closed banks or stores if in need of money or other necessary items.

The Garden Fair Kaiserslautern will open its doors again in spring. The event, which is taking place for the fifth time, runs from April 8 through Oct. 3.

Staff Sgt. Laura Henderson, assistant NCO of postal finance, 786th Communications Squadron, was one of the three KMC winners in the Travel the World On Us Club Membership Drive. She won a $500 travel voucher to use toward the vacation of her choice just by joining the Ramstein Enlisted Club during the 2003 Membership Drive.
