In a country like the U.S., where we respect different religions and
ways of life, there are very few rituals we all, as a nation, observe
together.
The 86th Security Forces Squadron would like to remind the KMC about the
dangers of driving under the influence, driving while intoxicated and
other alcohol-related incidents. DUI/DWI incidents have steadily
increased in the KMC.
Nearly 2,500 years ago, Greek philosopher Aristotle knew that excellence
isn’t an act but an every day event. Today, the 4,000 men and women of
the 86th Mission Support Group demonstrate excellence every day. Their
customer focused habits provide outstanding mission support to nearly
50,000 Americans across the KMC and across Europe.
Established by President Harry S. Truman in 1949, Armed Forces Day is a
way the nation can celebrate all of its service members on the same day.
The day was not only established to acknowledge the men and women who
wear the uniform, but to also serve as an opportunity for the services
to showcase the diversity of jobs we perform every day.
The Kaiserslautern Military Community Center is a superb facility and we are lucky to have it.

After a long and cold winter, warm spring weather is more than welcome
in the KMC. The sunshine and longer days give us all the impulse to get
outside and be active with our families and friends.

vehicular tragedy of the year when a mother came out of work only to
realize she had left her 6-year-old daughter in the car.
