The military culture is very unique and can be complex. In one
sentence, we can easily use half a dozen acronyms, leaving those
listening to the conversation confused and intimidated.
All around the globe Air Force bases are celebrating their 60-year
anniversary as a service. Ramstein, as well, will hold a huge birthday
celebration to remember the past and to look toward the future.

At least, that is what I did when I received the welcome news that I
was to become the next 86th Operations Group commander. But as I
prepared for the new job, I learned there is much more to the 86th OG
than just flying.
Some would argue that Washington, D.C., is the seat of power for the entire free world.
When I walked the city
We are all blessed to have the opportunity to live in Germany for an
assignment. However, living overseas can sometimes be stressful or
confusing and you may have questions about visas, local events,
marriage licenses and other issues. All of these questions can be
answered at the German-American Community Office in Kaiserslautern.
