U.S. Airmen from the 52nd Fighter Wing finish fueling and arming F-16 Fighting Falcons on the flightline at Ramstein Air Base, Jan. 22. The effort was in support of an Agile Combat Employment Exercise. The goal of ACE is to generate airpower in any environment with minimal personnel and equipment, and deter threats.

The 700th Contracting Squadron released its most substantial contract to date, totaling 425 million dollars, Jan. 15.

The five-year contract covers a broad range of construction, maintenance and renovation projects for the Kaiserslautern Military Com­munity, Spangdahlem Air Base and supporting installations throughout Germany.

A stone memorial stands in Synagogue Square, Kaiserslautern, Jan. 20. The memorial is used to remember the 192 Holocaust victims of Kaiserslautern. While Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism is held annually on Jan. 27, service members and their families can recognize victims of the Holocaust by learning about the Kaiserslautern memorials and local history throughout the year.
