Dec. 1 to train the country

The former senior officer in charge of manpower, personnel and services
at the Pentagon was promoted to four-star general and assumed command
of U.S. Air Forces in Europe at Ramstein during a ceremony Jan. 9 at
the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

Kaiserslautern City and Kaiserslautern County have community rules that

Jason Patrick Woodard, a 7-pound, 3-ounce baby boy was born to Capt.

Doug Woodard, and wife, Kristen, Jan. 1 at Landstuhl Regional Medical
Center. He was the first baby born in 2008 at Landstuhl, the largest
military hospital outside North America.

During an Airborne Conversion Ceremony held Dec. 11 at Miesau Ammo
Depot, 20 medical Soldiers from the newly designated 67th Forward
Surgical Team (Airborne) donned the maroon beret distinguishing them as
the only airborne forward surgical team in Europe and one of only five
Army-wide.

Every year, Headquarters Air Force Services conducts a customer
feedback survey to assess customer satisfaction with base level
services programs. This year, customers will be able to answer the
survey online or complete the paper survey on-the-spot while visiting
an activity from Jan. 14 to Jan. 31.
