On Christmas Day, a C-17 Globemaster departed Iraq carrying 14 patients
requiring medical care at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Due to a
low-ceiling visibility, the C-17 requested the first-ever CAT II
instrument landing system approach to a Ramstein runway, just three
days after the system had been declared operational.
Members of the 236th Medical Company at Landstuhl Regional Medical
Center recently upgraded to some of the best warfighting equipment
offered to the U.S. military.
Effective Jan. 15, the 435th Security Forces Squadron will relocate its
law enforcement desk from its current location at Bldg. 2371 to Bldg.
2503 due to building renovations.
