USAFE medics bring expertise to Liberia
A team of eight medics from five U.S. Air Forces in Europe bases
recently arrived in Liberia as part of a technical training initiative
for the new Armed Forces of Liberia. The country, which was ravaged by
nearly 15 years of civil war before it held its first democratic
election in November 2005, is working with American forces to help
swell the Liberian medical ranks.

Legal office offers new hours
The Ramstein Law Center has new customer service hours. Legal
assistance is available on a walk-in basis 1:30 to 3 p.m. Mondays and
Wednesdays and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Daily office
hours for notaries and powers of attorney are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and
Thursdays.

U.S. Air Forces in Europe celebrates its 65th anniversary. The oldest,
continuously active Air Force major command began on Jan. 19, 1942,
when the War Department established Headquarters Eighth Air Force.
