Every spring, chapters of the Future Business Leaders of America from Department of Defense Dependent Schools all over Europe gather to flaunt their business etiquette and expertise.
Each month, 20 to 25 Ramstein American High School students volunteer to play and bond with 60 to 65 Ramstein American Elementary School students whose parents are deployed.

Schools in the KMC: Landstuhl, Kaiserslautern, Ramstein, Sembach and Vogelweh offer early registration for school year 2005-2006, and online registration forms at www.kaisdso.eu.dodea.edu/ for parents who would like to complete and print out the forms prior to registering at their schools.
American and European high school students from across Europe gathered on the banks of the Rhein March 7 to 11 to study leadership skills in group building, consensus seeking, negotiations, advocacy and coalition building. The 24th annual International Student Leadership Institute featured 150 students, 75 Americans from 26 Department of Defense Dependent Schools, and 75 European students, with 20 teachers.
Sixth-grade students at Kaiserslautern American Middle School brought their history lessons to life as they celebrated Greek and Roman days. For two days in March, students, teachers and counselors wore Greek or Roman attire dressed as a god or goddess from mythology.
