To get a look at life in an American middle school, 55 eighth-grade students and their teachers from the Reichswald-Gymnasium in Ramstein-Miesenbach spent the day at Ramstein Middle School April 19. RMS students from Justine McCauley’s German I and II classes hosted the students by providing tours of the school, examples of typical classroom instruction, a potluck luncheon and more. This was the ninth year German-language classes at the RMS and the local German school have exchanged visits.

The Kaiserslautern High School StellarXplorers team, Galaxy Raiders, recently competed in the first-ever StellarXplorers national finals April 13 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The top 10 teams throughout the country were invited to compete in this eight-hour competition.
