News for the Ramstein, Kaiserslautern, Landstuhl & Baumholder military communities in Germany 
Since September, the Kaiserslautern High School Robotics Club was busy designing, building and testing robots they created. Recently, the club entered these robots in the first Technology Challenge, a competition held in Vilsek, Germany.
A team of resiliency trainers from the 21st Theater Sustainment Command, the 598th Transportation Brigade, and the 838th Transportation Battalion conducted resiliency training with students at Kaiserslautern High School on the Vogelweh Military Complex, March 15.
This year as Child, Youth and Schools Services presents “A Day at the Movies,” a movie themed “kinderfest,” or children’s festival, for the entire U.S. Army Garrison Baumholder community, being held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 30.
At the end of February, 11 students from Kaiserslautern High School’s Spanish IV and AP Spanish classes traveled to Sevilla, Spain, for an immersion experience in the language they have been studying for several years.
Ramstein Middle School is humming on Saturday mornings with students, teachers, community volunteers and even a principal or two who meet for Saturday Learning Academy twice each quarter from 8 a.m. to noon.
It’s crunch time again for the junior class at Ramstein High School. Prom is a few months away and funds still need to be raised.
