The anticipation in the Ramstein Youth Center gym ran high as the song
that has captured audiences for more than 40 years began to play.
Cub Scouts from the KMC will have the opportunity to earn a gold medal
in fun at the Cublympics during the Cub Scout Day Camp Tuesday to Aug.
26 at the 435th Construction Training Squadron.
The USDA free/reduced-price lunch program can save a family up to $384
per child attending Department of Defense Dependents Schools every year.
The USDA School Lunch Program is offered at all KMC schools and is
designed to meet federal requirements for nutritiously balanced meals
and offer free or reduced-price meals to eligible children. Families
need to apply annually for the program.
Dreary weather did not hinder the ProSoc Academy coaches from helping
children improve their soccer technique Monday. Shortly after 9 a.m.,
the coaches separated the kids by age group and began practicing ball
control and dribbling. The kids shook off the bad weather and happily
took direction.
