Officials in charge of the Defense Department
Every year, Air Force services gives away $25,000 in scholarship money
for higher education. All eligible club members and their families are
encouraged to compete for the funds through a themed essay entry.
Girl Scouts from Ramstein Troop 2 will team up with the Landstuhl Fisher
House June 4 and 5 to host a drive for current DVDs. When military
families come to stay at the Fisher House, they can borrow movies from
their library.
University of Maryland University College Europe has announced
registration for the summer session. Registration for on-site
(face-to-face) courses is available now through June 5, with classes
beginning
June 6. Registration for Europe online (distance education) courses continues through June 12, with classes starting June 13.
On May 15, students at Kaiserslautern High School held a ceremony that
inducted new students to the German National Honor Society.

The Kaiserslautern chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and
Electronics Association has $14,000 in scholarships available to
Kaiserslautern High School and Ramstein American High School Class of
2011.
