The intramural basketball team from the 435th Medical Group repeated as base champions with a thrilling double-overtime victory over undefeated 435th CS on Feb. 16.

The Kaiserslautern American High School Red Raiders boys basketball team defeated the Ramstein Royals 47-41 Feb. 3. Ramstein was leading 23-19 at halftime, but Kaiserslautern put together a 28 point 2nd half (aided by good foul shooting) to earn the Division I contest. High scorers for Ramstein were Junior A.J. Hawkins with 14 points followed by Seniors Allen Weaver with 10 and Trey Dulaney with 6.

The K-Town Kingfish, poised to take back the division championships from the SHAPE Seals in the Jan. 28 meet, took the lead midway through the competition, swam hard and never gave their opponent an opportunity to take the lead, making the Kingfish the division champs.
