Fitness Center reopens

The Ramstein Southside Fitness Center reopened Wednesday and offers a new child play area and remodeled cardio room. The center is open 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. For details, call 480-2371.

The 786th Civil Engineer Squadron sits atop the National League through Jan. 8. with a perfect 9-0 record, but the 786th Communications Squadron is knocking at the door with only one loss. Many other teams are still hoping that more victories will move them to the top of the ranks before the season ends.

he 86th Services Squadron Fitness Centers announced the six outstanding nominees for the 2003 Ramstein Athletes of the Year. Two local winners were chosen and forwarded for competition at the U.S. Air Forces in Europe level.
