As a sea of children stood on the basketball court timidly waiting, music began playing. Suddenly, six Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders ran out and grabbed hands and led a conga line to kick off the event.

Tiara Jenkins, a certified occupational therapy assistant with the 254th Medical Detachment, Combat Operational and Stress Control, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, prepares to throw a ball down the lane at the Vogelweh Bowling Center. Jenkins represented the Army women’s bowling team at this year’s Armed Forces Bowling Championship held in May at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Competing against bowlers from the Navy and Air Force, Jenkins and her three teammates bested the field, taking the gold.

Kingfish do it again!

On Sept. 27, the Kaisers-lautern Kingfish swim team hosted four other teams from across Europe at the Ramstein Aquatic Center. The Kingfish once again swam away with the victory, beating the Wiesbaden Wahoos, Lisbon Bullsharks and Lakenheath Barracudas 1257-792-154-141.
