Special race for wounded warriors to be held April 30

A special adventure race experience for wounded warriors is scheduled to take place Tuesday here. The event is sponsored by the Wounded Warrior Project, American Red Cross, Army Community Services and Garmisch Outdoor Recreation.

New sports field opened at KHS

On March 21, Kaiserslautern High School held a grand opening ceremony for its brand new sports field. This event was important to the entire KMC. The ceremony was opened by the KHS Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Color Guard who posted the colors.

The weather was crisp and stern. With a 30 percent chance of rain and a low temperature of 43 degrees, runners adorned their various costumes and neon running suits with scarves and gloves as they prepared to run a 5K in memory of Airman 1st Class Zachary Ryan Cuddeback.
