The next Ramstein Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed Club No. 042 is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Ramstein Youth Center. AWANA is a nonprofit, international, nondenominational, Christian youth ministry. The U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern Chaplain’s Office hosts a Strong Bonds Power Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Sunday at the Armstrong Community Club on Vogelweh Housing. Participants learn one of the most effective speaker-listener techniques for any relationship. This is a high-energy presentation for busy people. Registration is required to receive a free lunch. Meetings
The KMC Adoption Support Group meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Landstuhl Health and Wellness Center, Bldg. 3722. The group meets the needs of adoptive parents, adopting parents and adoptive children, through education and research to resolve adoption issues. The Prostate Cancer Support Group meets the third Wednesday of each month to discuss prevention, causes, diet, lifestyle, corrective procedures, “after procedure” care and follow-up, and life as a survivor. Meetings take place at the Ramstein American High School, Room D-25. All visitors must sign in at main office on first floor and then proceed to D-25.
KMC Mom 2 Mom, a peer breastfeeding support group, teaches pregnant women and mothers about breastfeeding, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 and Dec. 19 at the Ramstein North Chapel conference room.
