Talkin’ Senior NCO Academy
Following the promotion results for senior master sergeant, eligible senior NCOs will attend the Senior NCO Academy. For non-selects, only the top four percent become primaries and are guaranteed a slot at the Academy. The percentage is based on board scores plus supervisory exam scores. The next eight percent are labeled alternates and may attend PME if seats are available.

Classes are generally scheduled six months ahead of time and notifications come through the base formal training office.
