Classes and training

In observance of March’s Air Force Nutrition Month, the Ramstein Health and Wellness Center will offer a Health and Fitness Forum from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 19 and 8 to 10 a.m. March 26 at the Hercules Theater. The forum will consist of a panel of experts in their respective fields. All active-duty members, dependents and retirees are welcome to attend.  

The 86th Airlift Wing Safety office will hold its annual preseason safety briefing for motorcycle riders Tuesday at the Hercules Theater. The morning briefing starts at 9 a.m. and the afternoon briefing starts at 2 p.m.

Social networking and “sites awareness” training will be offered Tuesday. The training, presented by experts from the U.S. Army Europe information assurance program, is an introductory two-hour class focusing on dialogue-based Web platforms such as Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, YouTube and Twitter and the importance of protecting mission-sensitive information in the social media sphere.

U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern’s customer service officer hosts a Community FIRST (Feedback, Issues, Resolutions, Solutions, Today) focus group for active-duty Soldiers at 2 p.m. March 24 in the garrison commander’s conference room in Bldg. 2933 on Pulaski Barracks.
