The Base Education Advisory Planning Committee will meet April 28. BEPAC’s purpose is to assist in planning and developing off-duty adult education programs for Air Force personnel in the community. BEPAC reviews facility issues, fiscal resources, media access, library access and customer service concerns dealing with education. The spring Community College of the Air Force Graduation will be at 2 p.m. April 25 in the Ramstein Officers’ Club with Lt. Col. The Air Force Association− First Command Educational Foundation is offering the Air Force Excellence Scholarship. Active duty and Reserve/Air National Guard Air Force servicemembers, their spouses and dependent children (under age 23) may apply for this scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll, full-time or part-time, in fall 2008 in an undergraduate or graduate program of studies leading to an associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree at an accredited college or university. Applications must be received by the AFA no later than

The USAG-K’s Employee Assistance Program coordinator hosts Test Designated Position Training 3 to 4 p.m. May 6 in Room 111 in the Landstuhl learning center, Bldg. 3718 and 2:30 to a3:30 p.m. May 20 in the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center, Bldg. 2925, Room 104, on Pulaski Barracks.

This training is for Department of Army civilians and counts for one hour of the mandated annual three hours of substance abuse training. Attendees will learn drug testing procedures, importance of TDP for the military and an overview of drugs of concern.
