USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR Community Expo

The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR are hosting a Community Expo Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. This event, open to the Kaiserslautern Military Community, will ensure that community members can engage with each agency and gain a comprehensive understanding of the resources available to them while becoming more acquainted with the local area and what it has to offer.  Local businesses will offer information, prizes will be available to win, and food and beverages will be available for purchase. Covering the Bases Comedy Show

John McCombs set to headline the Covering the Bases Comedy Show Aug. 23 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The show will also feature Nya Yeanafehn and Miky Burch. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $12 at the door.  Local Comedian Erin Crouch will host the show. Army Community Service Job Fair

The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Army Community Service is hosting a Job Fair Sep. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh.  This is a job fair where ID card holders will be able to network with more than 25 Government Agencies and Contractors with positions to fill, such as AAFES, DeCA, Stars and Stripes and many more. SNEAK PREVIEW Tournament of Tiny Plays

Come see a SNEAK PREVIEW of our Tiny Plays BEFORE they debut! Eight Tiny Plays (10-30 minutes each), directed by expert local directors, are the KMC Onstage’s season opener, but you can get a first look at selected Tiny Plays Sep. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing.  Cost is $15 per ticket.  Tickets available at Armstrong’s Club and at KMC Onstage Box Office, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Strikers Bowling Center Duty Bowl & Two for Tuesday

Duty Bowl for service members in uniform is only $5 per hour and per lane every day at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. All Soldiers “duty” bowling must be in duty uniform.  Two for Tuesday special will be $2 per game and $2 shoe rentals from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.  every Tuesday. 6 vs. 6 Dodgeball Tournament on The Rock

A free “6 vs. 6 Dodgeball Tournament on The Rock” is Sep. 14 starting at 8 a.m.  on the basketball court in the Hall of Championships Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder.  Tournament is limited to the first 32 teams to preregister at the Hall of Champions by 5 p.m. on Sep. 6.  Team captains’ meeting is Sep. 14 at 8 a.m. in Hall of Champions. Landstuhl Library Baby Brillance Storytime

Baby Brilliance Storytimes returns in September and will be held every Thursday of the month starting at 11 a.m. at the Landstuhl Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post.  This is a fun storytime for ages birth to 18 months with songs, fingerplays and more. KMC Onstage Tournament of Plays Auditions

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage announces “That’s A Wrap! KMC Onstage The Rocky Horror Shadow Show Auditions

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage announces auditions for ages 18 and older The Rocky Horror Shadow Show 7 p.m. on Sep. 16 at the KMC Onstage Studio, inside the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. and Sep. 17 at the Baumholder Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks.  Auditions will consist of reading from the script and performing dance combos. Baumholder Fall Start Smart

Baumholder Fall Start Smart registration for ages 3 to 4, is now to Aug. 18.  Sports offered are soccer, T-ball, and flag football. Start Smart is a Child/Parent interactive program led by a CYS Sports & Fitness Specialist. Cost is $30. Baumholder Fall Sports Season

Registration for fall youth sports for the Baumholder community is now to Aug. 18.  Sports offered are: soccer, ages 5-15, $65; Flag Football, Ages 7-11, $65; cheerleading, ages 5-15, $65; and, swimming clinic, ages 3-15, $55. Sports Physicals/ Health Assessments must be on file and valid to Nov. 9 to participate. IMCOM-Europe Cycling Challenge

The 2023 IMCOM Europe Cycling Challenge is happening until Aug. 31. Participants must sign up through Baumholder or Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation. Registration fee is $50. SKIES Soccer Summer Camps

SKIES Unlimited is offering Soccer Summer Camps for youth ages 3 to 16 from now to  Aug.14 at the Pulaski Field and Landstuhl Adult Softball Field.  Registration is now open to all ID card holders from all branches of service.  All participants must be registered with Army MWR Child and Youth Services. Registration for the Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show is Aug. 1 to Sep. 14. Cost is $10 per vehicle. The car show is Sep. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Pulaski Automotive Skills Center’s parking lot in front of building 2859 on Pulaski Barracks. Red Pin Bowling

Red Pin Bowling happens every Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Bring Your Own Board Game at Strikers Bowling Center

The Pinsetters’ Pub has Bring Your Own Board Game every Friday at 5 p.m. until closing. This is a free event and preregistration is not required. All gamers, 18 and older, are welcome.
