Lanakila’s Polynesian Dance Performance

Say Aloha to summer with the Armed Forces Entertainment’s Lanakilas Polynesian Show Tuesday, Sep. 3, starting at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. at Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Use your Voice: Submit ideas to Improve your Community

Individuals can make a difference in the lives of Army Families by submitting issues for the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz fiscal year 2025 Army Family Action Plan conference. Army Family Action Plan provides Soldiers, Army Civilians, Family members, Survivors, and Retirees a voice by Identifying quality of life and readiness issues for Army Senior Leadership resolution. Issues can be submitted now until October online through the Army Family Web Portal at https://ims.armyfamilywebportal.com. Submission deadline is Oct. 9. Issues will also be accepted in person at ACS buildings 3210 on Kleber Kaserne and Bldg. 8666 on Smith Barracks. Baumholder CYS Job Fair

Interested in making a difference for our children in the community? Baumholder Child & Youth Services (CYS) are hosting an in-person job fair Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the CMR, Bldg. 8661 on Smith Barracks. CYS is looking to hire Child & Youth Program Assistants for Child Development, School Age, and Youth Centers on Wetzel Kaserne, Clinic Kaserne, and Smith Barracks. Landstuhl CYS Job Fair

Interested in making a difference for our children in the community? Child & Youth Services are hosting an in-person job fair Sep. 17 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Landstuhl Youth Center, Bldg. 93812 on Landstuhl Post. CYS is looking to hire Child & Youth Program Assistants at Miesau, Landstuhl, Kleber, Sembach CYS locations. Applicants should bring resumes, passports, social security cards,  immunization records and three references. Gold Star Mothers and Family Day Recognition Ceremony

Army Community Service is hosting a Gold Star Mothers and Family Day Recognition Ceremony Sep. 27 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the pavilion in Pulaski Park on Pulaski Barracks. This event is open to the public, and honors all Survivors, but it is specifically in recognition of Gold Star Mothers and Family Day, which is the last Sunday in September.  A bench dedication to Survivors will be held at the event. Strictly International Comedy Show (+Karaoke after)

Sam See set to headline the Strictly International Comedy Show Sep. 6 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The show will also feature Jen Kirwin, and spotlight local guest Anne Bredimus. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $12 at the door.  Local Comedian Erin Crouch will host the show. Weekly Pool Tournament Set at Landstuhl Community Club

The Halftime Sports Bar hosts a weekly pool tournament every Friday at the Landstuhl Community Club, Bldg. 3780, on Landstuhl Post. Starting Sept. 6, participants can join for a $5 entry fee. Registration opens at 6 p.m. The tournament kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Competitors must be 18 or older. Prizes are $50 for first place, $25 for second, and $10 for third. Salsa with Salsa Event Promotes Family Unity and Awareness

The Army Community Service Family Advocacy Program invites the community to a free “Salsa with Salsa” event Oct. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Rheinlander Community Club ballroom, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Open to all ages, the evening will feature a complimentary salsa dance lesson, and chips and salsa, offering a fun and family-friendly way to recognize National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Coffee Month Golf Scramble Set for Oct. 5

Golf enthusiasts are invited to the Coffee Month Golf Scramble Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888, Wetzel Kaserne. Cost is $10. This 18-hole, four-person scramble event features a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Registration is open until the start of the event. Participants must carry a full coffee cup throughout the game. Java Café Offers Drive-Thru Convenience at Rhine Ordnance Barracks

The Java Café, located in Bldg. 273 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks, is the Kaiserslautern community’s only drive-thru coffee shop. Known for quick service and convenience, the café proudly serves Starbucks coffee, a variety of hot and cold drinks, baked goods and sandwiches. Landstuhl Library Programs Paused in August

The Landstuhl Library Program will be pausing their programing during the month of August so they can plan programing for the coming fiscal year. Programing such as storytimes and special events will resume Sep. 2. Country Night in Baumholder

The Rheinlander Community Club is hosting Country Night Sep. 6 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Tavern on the Rock, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

Registration for the USAG Rheinland-Pfalz 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is now to Sep. 13 at the Kleber or Mountaineer Physical Fitness Centers. The tournament takes place Sep. 28 at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3235 on Kleber Kaserne. Coaches meeting at 9 a.m. Games starts at 10 a.m. Cost is $35 per team. Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show Registration

Registration for the Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show is now until Sep. 14. Cost is $10 per vehicle. The car show is Sep. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Pulaski Automotive Skills Center’s parking lot in front of building 2859 on Pulaski Barracks. How to Audition Kids Workshop

Kaiserslautern Late Night Basketball

Got Game? Want more court time? How about late-night hoops? Kaiserslautern Intramural Sports announces Late Night Basketball starting Aug. 30 from 9 p.m. to midnight at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3235 on Kleber Kaserne. This event will happen the last Friday of each month from 9 p.m. to midnight at the Kleber PFC. Registration is not required. Labor Day Bowling Special

The Strikers Bowling Center is offering Labor Day Bowling Special on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 30 & 31 at the bowling center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Red Pin Bowling

Red Pin Bowling happens every Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Bring Your Own Board Game at Strikers Bowling Center

The Pinsetters’ Pub has Bring Your Own Board Game every Friday at 5 p.m. until closing. This is a free event and preregistration is not required. All gamers, 18 and older, are welcome. Food is available at Shawingz until 9 p.m. There are large and small tables provided for game play, and fabulous music to provide the right atmosphere for playing.
