Roaring 20’s Midnight Bash

Ring in the New Year with a “Roaring 20’s Midnight Bash,” a sweet ending to a new beginning, from Dec. 31 at 9 p.m. to Jan. 1 at 2 a.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. 2023 New Year-New You Fitness Challenge

The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Fitness, Athletics and Aquatics Team is hosting the 2023 New Year-New You Fitness Challenge from Jan. 9 to Jan. 20 at the Hall of Champions Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. This is a 10-day fitness and diet challenge. Cost is $10. Registration is Jan. 9 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hall of Champions. Army Combat Fitness Training Workshop

Receive a step-by-step instruction by a professional coach with the 12-week Army Combat Fitness Training Workshop held Wednesday at 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. from Jan. 11 to March 29 at the Sembach Fitness Center, Bldg. 105 on Sembach Kaserne. Baumholder December Trip Schedule Available

The Baumholder Outdoor Recreation travel schedule for December is available under the “Calendar” section of baumholder.armymwr.com.  Visit several Christmas Markets in Valkenburg Caves, Aachen/Cologne, Strasbourg/Colmar and Bernkastel-Kues. There are several trout fishing and ski trips. The Award-Winning KMC Onstage 2022-2023 Theater Season

The 2022-2023 season tickets for all shows are available to purchase at the Award-Winning KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. The Landstuhl Community and Rheinlander Clubs are hosting a free Gridiron Challenge every Wednesday until Jan. 18. Participants must be valid ID Card Holders, ages 18 and older. Santa’s Workshop

Start Smart Winter Registration

Registration for winter Start Smart basketball, ages 3 to 4, for the Baumholder community is now until Dec. 18. Start Smart is a Child/ Parent interactive program led by a CYS Sports & Fitness Specialist. Cost is $25. Sessions will be offered during the month of January, February and March 2023. Start Smart teaches children the skills they need to play organized sports in a FUN non-competitive environment over the course of six – 45-minute sessions. New Year’s Glow Party

Wear neon and glow attire for the New Year’s Glow Party Dec. 31 at 9 p.m. at the Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Free glow stick with $5 entrance fee.  Live DJ will play themed and popular music. Arts & Crafts Studio Time for Experienced Potters

The Arts & Crafts Center offers studio time for experienced potters. With a fully equipped studio with wheels, slab roller, kilns, and pottery tools to help you create exactly want you want. Fees are charged hourly per person at $5 for the first hour and each additional hour for $2.50. The Hideaway Bistro & Grill, inside the Armstrong’s Community Club offers daily specials from exquisite smaller plates perfect for quick dining to mouth-watering mains that suit a long, leisurely lunch or evening meal.
