SKIES & KMC Onstage Winter Youth Theater Classes
The SKIES Unlimited Program and the Award-Winning KMC Onstage announces the 2022 Winter Youth Theater Classes for youth ages 5 to 18 at the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. Registration started Dec. 1, and classes are from Jan. 11 to April 6. Topics include all-levels theater, performance and sewing costumes. New Year’s Latin Fiesta
Bring in the New Year with Borinkuba, a live Latin Band, at the New Year’s Latin Fiesta Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. to Jan. 1 at 1 a.m. at the Rheinlander Convention Center, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. Cost is $10 at the door and includes free champagne and appetizers to celebrate the New Year. Preparing for the Financial Battleground
The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers Program and Army Community Service Financial Office are providing free financial classes on the first Thursday of the month. The next one is Jan. 5. These monthly financial classes will teach eligible BOSS Soldiers on a wide range of financial topics. Registration is not required. Self-Compassion for Healthcare Communities
Participants practice techniques to increase self-compassion at work and everyday life at the Self-Compassion for Healthcare Communities Workshop held Jan. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Yoga and Massage Studio, Bldg. 2899 on Pulaski Barracks. Fireside Storytimes

Gridiron Challenge
The Landstuhl Community and Rheinlander Clubs are hosting a free Gridiron Challenge every Wednesday until Jan. 18. Participants must be valid ID Card Holders, ages 18 and older. The 2022-2023 season tickets for all shows are available to purchase at the Award-Winning KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Start Smart Winter Registration
Registration for winter Start Smart basketball, ages 3 to 4, for the Baumholder community is now until Dec. 18. Start Smart is a Child/ Parent interactive program led by a CYS Sports & Fitness Specialist. Cost is $25. Sessions will be offered during the month of January, February and March 2023. Start Smart teaches children the skills they need to play organized sports in a FUN non-competitive environment over the course of six – 45-minute sessions. The Yoga and Massage Studio hosts an Army Combat Fitness Training Workshop on Wednesday now until Dec. 21 from 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. at the Landstuhl Fitness Center, Bldg. 3720 on Landstuhl Post. The popular annual Stuffed Animal Sleepover starts with children dropping off their furry friends Thursday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Landstuhl Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post.
