Spring Bazaar: Your Shopping Haven

Join Family & MWR for the Spring Bazaar, a shopping event you won’t want to miss! AFE Niko Moon Concert

2025 AER Campaign

The 2025 Army Emergency Relief Campaign is scheduled from March 1 to June 14 for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities. AER is a private, nonprofit organization established in 1942 to assist Soldiers and their families during financial emergencies. To contribute to the 2025 AER Campaign, Soldiers and supporters can donate online via the AER website, set up payroll deductions through DFAS allotment, participate in peer-to-peer campaigns, or mail a check. 500/1000 Pound Club

Registration for the 500/1000 Pound Club is March 3 to 27 at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3234/3235 on Kleber Kaserne. The event is March 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is in-person at the Kleber PFC. Open to all Military ID Card Holders, Civilians ID Card Holders, and Local National (LN) ID card holders 18 years and above. St. Paddy’s Day Ping Pong Tournament

May the luck of the Irish crown the paddle master at the St. Paddy’s Day Ping Pong Tournament held March 18 at the Baumholder Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. Registration is open now until March 15. Cost is $5, non-refundable. Only cashless payment accepted. This event is for U.S. ID card holders 18 and older. BOSS Life Skill Skiing & Snow Boarding Trip

U.S. Army Installation Management Command is sponsoring a Life Skill Skiing and Snow Boarding Trip March 22 to Garmisch-Partenkirchen Germany. This trip is for Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) eligible Soldiers in the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities. There are only 15 slots available. Reservations must be made by March 6. Cost is $35.75. Cashless payments are only being accepted at the Warrior Zone during regular business hours. Youth Sports Spring Registration

Youth Sports Spring Registration for youth ages 5 to 15 is now to Feb. 28 (or until teams are full). Sports offered are Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Golf and Track & Field. Practice locations are Landstuhl, Sembach and Kaiserslautern) and vary by sport. Cost is $65 & up. A Health Assessment/ Sports Physical good through June 15 is required. Bookmark Decorating Contest at the Baumholder Library

The Baumholder library is hosting a Bookmark Decorating Contest for the entire month.  From March 1 to 16, patrons can submit bookmark designs by age categories: 0-5, 6-9, 10-12, 13-17, and 18+. From March 17-31, bookmark designs will be voted on by the community. Winners from each age category will get their bookmarks printed, and bookmarks given away at the library. Belt It Out Karaoke with Jacey Dragon

Is singing your guilty pleasure? In tune or off key, be in the moment and channel your inner superstar at the Tavern on the Rock, located inside the Rheinlander community Club, Feb. 28 from 7 to 11 p.m. for Belt it Out Karaoke Nights with Jacey Dragon. School Age Summer Camps

Registration is now open for the Army Family and MWR Child and Youth Services School Age Programs’ Vision 2025 “Shaping Our Future” Summer Camps.  The program offers nine weeks of care services from June 16 to Aug 11. These camps are for School Age Centers on Wetzel Kaserne, Landstuhl Post or Sembach Kaserne. Rheinlander Easter Brunch

Enjoy Easter Brunch April 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Thursday Night Comedy Show

A rising comedy star with a hit Radio 4 Series, Njambi McGrath, headlines the Thursday Comedy Show March 20 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Host is Erin Crouch. The show will feature special guests. This is an 18+ event. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 at the door.  Payment can be done with credit and debit cards or U.S dollars. Euros are not accepted. Spring German Hunting Course in Baumholder & Kaiserslautern

A spring German hunting course will be held March 1 to May 17 in Baumholder. Registration is now until the first day of class. The German Hunting Course is an intensive program. Start Smart Registration

Registration for Start Smart baseball and soccer for ages 3 and 4 is now to March 21 or when slots are full. Cost is $30. Start Smart is a parent/child interactive program lead by a Sports and Fitness Specialist. Winter Chai Special at Java Café

Winter Chai Specials happening at Baumholder, Landstuhl and Rhine Ordnance Barracks Java Cafés now to April 10. Winter Chai specials include Iced Chai Tea with Oat Latte and Chai Tea with Oat Latte. The Baumholder Java Café is in the CMR Building, 8661 on Smith Barracks. The Landstuhl Java Café is inside Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Bldg. 3774 on Landstuhl Post. The Java Café on Rhine Ordnance Barracks is a stand-alone Building, 273.

Easter Brunch at Armstrong’s Club

Hop on over to the Easter Brunch April 20 with 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. seating times at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Cost is 32€ for ages 18 and older, 18€ for ages 12 to 17, 6€ for ages six to 11, and free for ages five and younger. Tickets will be available until close of business April 17. The Easter Bunny will make a visit and handing out Easter eggs to all the children at the brunch. Patrons can also take photos with the Easter Bunny. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Families are invited to join the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten on-line program at the Landstuhl Library. Wibit Inflatable Obstacle Course

The Aquatic Center, Bldg. 8897/95 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder, has a Wibit inflatable Obstacle Course for rent. Register with Landstuhl Youth Center

The Landstuhl Youth Center (LYC) is a facility for youth in grades 6th-12th that offers a wide range of programs and activities Monday through Friday, after school. This free program is available to youth who have a military affiliation in Germany. Homeschooled youth, and youth who attend either a German or DODEA school are welcome to join.
