Zuva Martens Comedy Show
The first comedy show for 2024 is the Zuva Martens Comedy Show Feb. 9 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Headliner Martens began his career as a stand-up comedian in 2016. The show will also feature Fred Eyangoh, who is originally from Cameroon, and Victoria Marshall, who is originally from New York. The Guest host is J-Wayne Davis, who is a local singer and produces Artistic Expressions, a platform for Kaiserslautern artists and creatives. Golf Clinic at Woodlawn Golf Course
The Baumholder Youth Sports and Fitness department is offering a brand-new Golf Program from Apr. 8 to May 1 at the Woodlawn Golf Course on Ramstein Air Base. The SNAG (Starting New at Golf) Clinic is for ages 5 to 7 and costs $50, offers a total of 6 sessions and is instructed by a certified golf professional. The traditional Golf Clinic is for ages 8 to 15 and costs $75, offers a total of 8 sessions and is also instructed by a certified golf professional. Black History Month Staged Reading: A Raisin in the Sun
The Award-Winning KMC Onstage and the African American Heritage Committee of the KMC are pleased to co-host a staged reading to celebrate Black History in the arts Feb. 22 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at KMC Onstage Studio, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. This performance is free and open to the public. Bookmark Decorating Contest at the Baumholder Library
The Baumholder library is hosting a Bookmark Decorating Contest for the entire month of March. From March 1 to 16, patrons can submit bookmark designs by age categories: 0-5, 6-9, 10-12, 13-17, and 18 and older. From March 17-31, bookmark designs will be put on display at the CMR, where the community can cast their votes for their favorite bookmark design. International Women’s Day Comedy Show

Youth Sports Spring Registration
Registration for spring youth sports open now to Feb. 29 or when teams are full. Sports offered on Landstuhl Post and Sembach Kaserne vary for ages 5 to 15 are baseball, softball, and soccer. Golf for ages 8 to 15 will be offered on Ramstein Air Base. Track and Field for ages 8 to 15 will offered at Kaiserslautern High School. Cost is $65 and up. A Health Assessment/Sports Physical is required, and must be on file and good through June 15, at time of registration. Red Pin Bowling happens every Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder.
