USAG-RP 2022 Volunteer of the Year Nominations

The Army Community Service Army Volunteer Corps are accepting nominations for calendar year 2022 Army Volunteer of the Year until Feb. 24. Categories are Youth Volunteer, Teen Volunteer, Single Soldier, Military, Civilian and Family Member. Valentine’s Day Balloon Bouquet Delivery

Surprise your loved ones with a Valentine’s Day Balloon Bouquet. Baumholder Arts and Crafts Center is offering Balloon Bouquets pickup and delivery services on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.  Customers can place orders starting Feb. 2.  Order forms with delivery prices listed and the Valentine Balloon Catalog can be found at baumholder.armymwr.com. Palentine’s Day Brunch

Join the Baumholder Library for Palentine’s Day Feb. 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Golf Course Club House, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. Come dressed as your favorite buddy characters, for example, Batman and Robin, The Three Amigos, and Frodo and Sam from Lord of the Rings, and win a prize. Valentine’s Day Dinner at the Armstrong’s Club

Enjoy a candlelit Valentine’s Day Dinner with “live” piano music at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. This is a dine-in only event. Valentine Bazaar

The Valentine Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. Join Family & MWR for the Valentine Bazaar from Friday, Feb. 10 to Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with Euros, debit and credit cards accepted. AFE Brings the Rush: Pro Blitz Kaiserslautern

The Armed Forces Entertainment, and Family and MWR present AFE Pro Blitz Kaiserslautern. Meet and greet NFL players and cheerleaders Feb. 11 at the Landstuhl Community Club, Bldg. 370 on Landstuhl Post. This is a free event. “Big Game” Party at the Baumholder Warrior Zone

The Baumholder Warrior Zone hosts a “Big Game” Party Feb. 12 at 9 p.m. at the Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. There will be live streaming of the 2023 Super Bowl on a large projector.  Snacks and pizza will be offered during the showing. Arcadia Performances

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage presents Arcadia Feb. 3 to 5, and Feb. 10 to 12 at the main stage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Shows are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.  Arcadia moves back and forth between 1809 and the present at the elegant estate owned by the Coverly family. Gridiron Challenge

The Landstuhl Community and Rheinlander Clubs are hosting a free Gridiron Challenge every Wednesday until Jan. 18. Participants must be valid ID Card Holders, ages 18 and older. Self-Compassion for Healthcare Communities

Participants practice techniques to increase self-compassion at work and everyday life at the Self-Compassion for Healthcare Communities Workshop held Jan. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Yoga and Massage Studio, Bldg. 2899 on Pulaski Barracks. Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Intramural Unit Level Basketball Season

The Kaiserslautern Intramural Sports program announces the upcoming Intramural Level Basketball season until Feb. 23 at the Fitness Center, Bldg. 172 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Army Combat Fitness Training Workshop

Receive a step-by-step instruction by a professional coach with the 12-week Army Combat Fitness Training Workshop held Wednesday at 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. now until March 29 at the Sembach Fitness Center, Bldg. 105 on Sembach Kaserne. Cost is $45 per month. SKIES & KMC Onstage Winter Youth Theater Classes

The SKIES Unlimited Program and the Award-Winning KMC Onstage announces the 2022 Winter Youth Theater Classes for youth ages 5 to 18 at the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. Classes are until April 6. Topics include all-levels theater, performance and sewing costumes. “Resiliency through Art”

The Baumholder Arts and Crafts Center, Bldg. 8104 on Smith Barracks, has a “Resiliency through Art” program every Monday at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The next one is Monday, Jan. 9. Cost is $5. Each session is about 1.5 hours. Art is a wonderful creative outlet for expression and can provide a great relief for anyone. Health and Wellness Coaching

Yoga and Massage Studio now offers health and wellness coaching with a board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician. The 45-minute sessions begin in January and end in May and will be held Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon. Trivia Night at Armstrong’s Club

The Armstrong’s Club is hosting Trivia Night every fourth Wednesday of the month. The next one is Jan. 25. Trivia Night will start a 7 p.m. Winners will receive a mystery prize. Build Legos at the Baumholder Library

The Baumholder “Iron Works” Library welcomes Lego builders of all ages to learn, challenge and create Jan. 28 at 1 p.m. Building with LEGOs presents several challenges that call upon children’s creativity, persistence, and social skills. Additionally, problem solving, critical thinking and engineering skills all come into play as children enjoy building with LEGO bricks.
