Discover Unique Finds at the Valentine’s Bazaar!

Celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend at the Valentine’s Bazaar, a one-stop shopping destination filled with treasures for everyone! Hosted by Family & MWR, the event will take place from Friday, Feb. 14, through Sunday, Feb. 16, at the Special Events Center, Bldg. 237, on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Shopping Hours: Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; and Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. Open to U.S. ID cardholders only. Strollers are welcome. Valentine’s Day Celebration Dinner at the Armstrong’s Club

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with that “certain someone special” in the grand atmosphere of the Chandelier Ballroom Feb. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Cost is 45 Euros per person. Live Music will add to the grand atmosphere. Reservations can be made until Feb. 12. Comedy Workshop

“They’re All Gonna Laugh At You!” Comedy Workshop is Saturday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the KMC Onstage Studio, in the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. The workshop is for ages 18 and older. Cost is $50. Find out more at kaiserslautern.armymwr.com.

Army Community Service Job Fair

The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Army Community Service is hosting a community Job Fair Thursday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. Open to all ID card holders. The job fair will showcase interactive sessions for applicants where they can get tips on the spot with free Résumé Reviews and Mock interviews. Late Night Basketball and Volleyball

Basketball and Volleyball players will have a chance to play Late Night Basketball and Volleyball until Feb. 7 at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. Both Basketball and Volleyball play will be from 8 to midnight. Volleyball action will be Jan. 24 and Feb. 7. Late Night Basketball is Jan. 31. Open to ID Card Holders 18 years and older. Winter Chai Special at Java Café

Winter Chai Specials happening at Baumholder, Landstuhl and Rhine Ordnance Barracks Java Cafés now to April 10. Winter Chai specials include Iced Chai Tea with Oat Latte and Chai Tea with Oat Latte. The Baumholder Java Café is in the CMR Building, 8661 on Smith Barracks. The Landstuhl Java Café is inside Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Bldg. 3774 on Landstuhl Post. “Smokin’ Meats” at Armstrongs Backyard BBQ

Armstrong’s Club announces freshly smoked Brisket & Ribs pickup and takeout service starting Jan. 10. Boys and Girls Clubs of America Fine Arts Gala

The Baumholder Youth Center is hosting the free Annual Boys and Girls Clubs of America Fine Arts Gala Jan. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. This event is for all ages and is open to all community members. This event will showcase the fine arts and photography of youth members from the Baumholder community school age and teen programs from the past year. Spring Sports Onsite Registration

Landstuhl Youth Sports announces Special Opening onsite registration for Spring Youth Sports on Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Landstuhl School Age Center, Bldg. 3851 on Landstuhl Post. Patrons must have a current CYS registration and Sports Physical good through June 15, 2025, on file. Youth Sports Spring Registration

Youth Sports Spring Registration for youth ages 5 to 15 is Feb. 1 to 28 (or until teams are full). Sports offered are Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Golf and Track & Field. Practice locations are Landstuhl, Sembach and Kaiserslautern) and vary by sport. Cost is $65 & up. A Health Assessment/ Sports Physical good through June 15 is required. Start Smart Registration

Registration for Start Smart baseball and soccer for ages 3 and 4 is Feb. 3 to March 21 or when slots are full. Cost is $30. Start Smart is a parent/child interactive program lead by a Sports and Fitness Specialist. Staged Reading: “The Mountaintop”

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage is proud to present a free staged reading of Katori Hall’s play, “The Mountaintop,” Feb 5, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the KMC Onstage Studio, inside the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. The Army Community Service Army Volunteer Corps is accepting nominations for calendar year 2024 Volunteer of the Year until Feb. 7. Celebrity Celebrations 1960s Vegas-themed Murder Mystery Night

Valentine’s Murder Mystery Night presented by KMC Onstage at local clubs Feb. 7, 8, 14 and 15 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Book your tickets by Tuesday, Feb 4 to take part! This year’s theme is “Celebrity Celebrations” and takes place in a 1960’s Las Vegas Casino! Ages 18+. Cost is $35 per person. Heroes & Villains Epic Event

Join the Landstuhl Library for an epic event celebrating Heroes & Villains from literature and fandoms with activities, crafts, games, and prizes Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at the library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post. All ages are invited. This is a free event and for the whole family. Whether you are a force for good or from the dark side, costumes are encouraged! Weekly Yoga Classes-Tuesday & Thursday

Two new yoga classes are now available in the Baumholder community. Every Tuesday, 6:30 -7:45 p.m., enjoy Soft & Slow Yoga, and every Thursday, 6:30-7:45 p.m., Yoga Balance. Landstuhl Library Baby Brillance Storytime

Baby Brilliance Storytimes returns in September and will be held every Thursday of the month starting at 11 a.m. at the Landstuhl Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post. This is a fun storytime for ages birth to 18 months with songs, fingerplays and more. Signups are not required. Storytimes will not take place on Federal Holidays. Strikers Bowling Center Duty Bowl & Two for Tuesday

Duty Bowl for service members in uniform is only $5 per hour and per lane every day at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. All Soldiers “duty” bowling must be in duty uniform. Two for Tuesday special will be $2 per game and $2 shoe rentals from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Tuesday. Dungeons & Dragons at Baumholder Library

Go on adventures with an intrepid crew of heroes with Baumholder Library’s Dungeons & Dragons offered every third Tuesday of the month from 4 to 5 p.m. This is for ages 9 to 14. Players can use their imagination and creativity to build the story and move the game forward. Seats are limited and registration is required.
