2023 ROBtoberfest-Reserve your seat now!

USAG Rheinland-Pfalz will host one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, the two-day ROBtoberfest Sep. 8 from 7 to 11 p.m. and Saturday, Sep. 9, from 1 to 5 p.m.  The event will take place at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. This Volksfest (folk festival) will feature live performances by the authentic German Oktoberfest Band, Bavarian Express. Rolling Hills OPEN Tournament 

The Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder, announces the Rolling Hills OPEN Tournament Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a 36-hole, stroke play event, open to all eligible players. Interested golfers must registered before Aug. 4.  A free practice round is Friday, Aug. 4. Cost is $40 to play, which includes a meal and trophy. Barefoot in the Park Auditions

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage is holding auditions for its 2023-2024 season opener, Neil Simon’s hilarious comedy, Barefoot in the Park, Aug. 7 and 8 at KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Auditions will be cold reads from the script, no preparation necessary.  Roles available for male and female characters, ages 20’ to 70. DJ Blackout at the Tavern on the Rock

Back-to-School Ice Cream Social

Crazy Golf Tournament

Age has its advantages at the Crazy Golf Tournament held Aug. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder.  Active duty in ranks E1 to E5 pay $14, and E6 and above pay $19. Use your Voice: Submit ideas to improve your community

Individuals can make a difference in the lives of Army Families by submitting issues for the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz fiscal year 2024 Army Family Action Plan conference.  Army Family Action Plan provides Soldiers, Army Civilians, Family members, Survivors, and Retirees a voice by identifying issues and concerns for Army Senior Leadership resolution. Issues can be submitted online through the Army Family Web Portal at https://ims.armyfamilywebportal.com. Submission deadline is Oct. 4. The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Child and Youth Services School Age Programs present the 2023 “The Great SAC Adventures” Summer Camp.  The program offers 10 weeks of care services now to Aug 18. Baumholder Library Summer Reading Program Paws-to-Read

The Baumholder Library announces Paws-to-Read with Finlea, the service dog, during the 2023 Summer Reading Program “Find Your Voice.” Children, ages 3 to 12, can gain confidence, practice reading aloud and improve fluency by sharing a story with Finlea. Baumholder Unit Level Flag Football

Registration for the 2023 Baumholder Intramural Sports 2023 Unit Level Flag Football Season for Soldiers is July 6 to 18. Civilian ID Card Holders can play, but they can’t advance to the IMCOM-E Championships. Letter of intent is available at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. A mandatory coaches meeting is July 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hall of Champions. The season is from July 19 to Oct. 6. For more information, visit Baumholder.armymwr.com.

The Baumholder Library announces the Anime Club for those ages 12 to 16 who like reading manga or watching anime July 11 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. This club is a part of the 2023 Summer Reading Program “Find Your Voice.” Come together to do crafts, learn how to draw a character, learn about Japanese culture, participate in games, watch anime and chat with other anime fans. Flag Football Officials Clinic and Practicum Tournament

The Installation Command-Europe 2023 Flag Football Officials Clinic and Practicum Tournament will be held in the Baumholder Military Community. The clinic is July 11 to 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Education Center, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The Practicum Tournament is July 15 at Minick Field on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Deadline for team signup is July 7. April Macie Comedy Show

The Kazabra Club is thrilled to announce the upcoming April Macie Comedy Show July 14 from 8 to 10 p.m. Comedy enthusiasts can expect an evening filled with laughter and entertainment as the talented April Macie, currently captivating audiences as part of the Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready Comedy Special on Netflix, takes the stage. Joining April Macie for this special comedy event is Jen Kirwin, an accomplished stand-up comedian. Host is local comedian, Erin Crouch. The event will be held at the Kazabra Club, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.  Cost is $10 at the door.

National Hot Dog Day

Hot-diggity-dog! National Hot Dog Day is coming! Celebrate this day at the Baumholder Library by enjoying a hot dog your way during the dog day of summer, at this free event on Wednesday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., while supplies last. Officially Establish Your Golf Handicap at Rolling Hills Army Golf Course

The Rolling Hills Army Golf Course now offers the chance to officially establish your handicap through the United States Golf Association and Texas Golf Association. The handicap runs from January to December each year and costs $26. Health and Wellness Coaching

Yoga and Massage Studio now offers health and wellness coaching with a board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician.
