Summer Bazaar

The Summer Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. It’s happening Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4 at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. KMC Onstage 10-Minute Play Performances

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage presents their annual 10-Minute Plays June 2 to 4 at the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. Shows are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Come see a mix of comedy and drama with the annual 10-Minute Plays, all done by new directors in the KMC area, in cooperation with the Directors and Stage Management Workshops. Best Country Western Night in Germany

The Legendary Country Western Night returns to the Kazabra Club starting Saturday, June 3. This tradition returns every Saturday night from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dance instructions are offered to help everyone get up and join in. Sembach Celebration of Independence Day

The Sembach Community Activity Center is hosting a Celebration of Independence Day on July 1 from 8 to 10:30 p.m. in Building 220 on Sembach Kaserne. Live adult contemporary music will be provided by J’Traine’. Cost is $18 at the door. Doors open at 7 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Baumholder Library Summer Reading Program History Night

Baumholder may be a small town that borders the Saarland, but it is a small town with a rich history. Join the German American Stammtisch at the library as Mr. Bernd Mai from Public Affairs will take you down memory lane to learn about the history of Baumholder July 7 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. Baumholder Library Summer Reading Program Paws-to-Read

The Baumholder Library announces Paws-to-Read with Finlea, the service dog, during the 2023 Summer Reading Program “Find Your Voice.” Children, ages 3 to 12, can gain confidence, practice reading aloud and improve fluency by sharing a story with Finlea. Summer Golf Scramble

The Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder, is celebrating Summer 2023 with a golf tournament on Saturday, July 8. Shotgun start is at 10 a.m. Make your own team for this 18-hole, four-person, Scramble-format event. Just 5 minutes away from Smith Barracks on Wetzel Kaserne. Active duty in ranks E1 to E5 pay $14, and E6 and above pay $19.Carts are extra. Most libraries will ask you to leave if you start signing out loud, but not the Baumholder Library. Instead, they want you to “Find Your Voice” and flex your golden pipes at the Baumholder Library Karaoke event July 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Baumholder Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Calling all LEGO enthusiasts.  Get in the league with the Big LEGO builders. Bring your LEGO set, build it and show case it or connect with others and build together, even swap sets if you see one you like.  This event is for all ages. Baumholder Library Summer Reading Program After Party

The Summer Reading Program might be over, but the party still goes on! Celebrate finding your voice at an activity-studded after party that celebrates reading and all our readers! The celebration will be held July 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Golf Course Clubhouse, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. There will be crafts, sport activities, bouncy houses, karaoke, and a live band! This event is free and for all ages. Army Community Service Birthday

Army Community Service will turn 58 years old on July 25. To celebrate, ACS is asking for Army Community Impact Stories. Submit a 30 to 60 second video to SSEmarketing@stripes.com by July 18. 2023 IMCOM-Europe Cycling Challenge

Parent Education Series

Baumholder Child and Youth Services and ACS Family Advocacy Program are partnering to bring the free Parent Education Series, which will be held the third Thursday of each month from May to July at ACS, Bldg. 8666 on Smith Barracks. Classes are 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The goal of the series is to provide parents, expecting parents and those considering becoming parents, resources that they can use to ease the challenges of parenting. Army Start Smart Summer Registration

Registration for Start Smart Summer sessions for ages 3 to 4 is now to July 21 or until slots are full. Start Smart is a parent/child interactive program lead by a Sports and Fitness Specialist. Summer Sessions will feature soccer, golf, and basketball. Cost is $30. Officially Establish Your Golf Handicap at Rolling Hills Army Golf Course

The Rolling Hills Army Golf Course now offers the chance to officially establish your handicap through the United States Golf Association and Texas Golf Association. The handicap runs from January to December each year and costs $26. Health and Wellness Coaching

Yoga and Massage Studio now offers health and wellness coaching with a board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician. The 45-minute sessions begin in January and end in May and will be held Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon.
