Thursday Night Comedy Show

A rising comedy star with a hit Radio 4 Series, Njambi McGrath, headlines the Thursday Comedy Show March 20 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Host is Erin Crouch. The show will feature special guests. This is an 18+ event. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 at the door.  Payment can be done with credit and debit cards or U.S dollars. Euros are not accepted. Easter Brunch at Armstrong’s Club

Hop on over to the Easter Brunch April 20 with 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. seating times at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Cost is 32€ for ages 18 and older, 18€ for ages 12 to 17, 6€ for ages six to 11, and free for ages five and younger. Tickets will be available until close of business April 17. The Easter Bunny will make a visit and handing out Easter eggs to all the children at the brunch. Rheinlander Easter Brunch

Enjoy Easter Brunch April 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Prices are $22.50 for patrons 18 years and older, $12 for ages 6 to 17, and free for ages five and younger. Registration is via WebTrac. The link and the menu are on baumholder.armymwr.com.

Juice Box Karaoke

Children, ages 3 to 12 years old, will have a blast singing at Juice Box Karaoke, the third Thursday of every month, starting April 17, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Baumholder Library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. Singing helps children improve their reading and speaking skills and Juice Box Karaoke will help create fun memories for the family. For the song your child wants to sing, be sure to provide artist name and song title when registering by email: baumholderlibrary@army.mil.

School Age Summer Camps

Registration is now open for the Army Family and MWR Child and Youth Services School Age Programs’ Vision 2025 “Shaping Our Future” Summer Camps.  The program offers nine weeks of care services from June 16 to Aug 11. These camps are for School Age Centers on Wetzel Kaserne, Landstuhl Post or Sembach Kaserne. 2025 AER Campaign

The 2025 Army Emergency Relief Campaign is now until June 14 for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities. AER is a private, nonprofit organization established in 1942 to assist Soldiers and their families during financial emergencies. To contribute to the 2025 AER Campaign, Soldiers and supporters can donate online via the AER website, set up payroll deductions through DFAS allotment, participate in peer-to-peer campaigns, or mail a check. Start Smart Registration

Registration for Start Smart baseball and soccer for ages 3 and 4 is now to March 21 or when slots are full. Cost is $30. Start Smart is a parent/child interactive program lead by a Sports and Fitness Specialist. Winter Chai Special at Java Café

Winter Chai Specials happening at Baumholder, Landstuhl and Rhine Ordnance Barracks Java Cafés now to April 10. Winter Chai specials include Iced Chai Tea with Oat Latte and Chai Tea with Oat Latte. The Baumholder Java Café is in the CMR Building, 8661 on Smith Barracks. The Landstuhl Java Café is inside Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Bldg. 3774 on Landstuhl Post. The Java Café on Rhine Ordnance Barracks is a stand-alone Building, 273.

Bookmark Decorating Contest at the Baumholder Library

The Baumholder library is hosting a Bookmark Decorating Contest for the entire month.  From March 1 to 16, patrons can submit bookmark designs by age categories: 0-5, 6-9, 10-12, 13-17, and 18+. From March 17-31, bookmark designs will be voted on by the community. Winners from each age category will get their bookmarks printed, and bookmarks given away at the library. “Ruthless! The Musical”

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage presents “Ruthless! The Musical” March 14, 15 and 16, and March 21, 22 and 23 at the KMC Onstage Studio, in the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center on Daenner Kaserne. St. Paddy’s Day Ping Pong Tournament

May the luck of the Irish crown the paddle master at the St. Paddy’s Day Ping Pong Tournament held March 18 starting at 7 p.m. at the Baumholder Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. Registration is open now until March 15. Cost is $5, non-refundable. Only cashless payment accepted. This event is for U.S. ID card holders 18 and older. Tuesday Yoga Class

The Mountaineer Physical Fitness Center announces Soft and Slow (Restorative and Yin Yoga) every Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Mountaineer Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8220, Baumholder. Cost is $15 per person, per class or $14 by purchasing one book of 10 classes for $140. Experience is not necessary for Yogis to attend this class. Run The Rock 5K Fun Run

Baumholder Intramural Sports is hosting a Run The Rock 5K Fun Run March 22 starting at 9 a.m. starting at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks.  Runners must report to the Admin/Registration Table between 8 and 8:50 am to verify payment, record data and receive race number. AFE Niko Moon Concert

500/1000 Pound Club

Registration for the 500/1000 Pound Club is now until March 27 at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3234/3235 on Kleber Kaserne. The event is March 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Registration is in-person at the Kleber PFC. Open to all Military ID Card Holders, Civilians ID Card Holders, and Local National (LN) ID card holders 18 years and above. Gold Star Spouses Day Recognition Ceremony

Army Community Service is hosting a Gold Star Spouses Day Recognition Ceremony and Bench Dedication April 2 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Sembach Chapel, Bldg. 118 on Sembach Kaserne. This event is open to the public, and honors all Survivors, but it is specifically in recognition of Gold Star Spouses Day, which is April 5. Baumholder Library “A Good Yarn”

The Baumholder Library offers “A Good Yarn” for crafters ages 15 and older every second Wednesday of the month from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  at the library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. The next one will be April 9. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Families are invited to join the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten on-line program at the Landstuhl Library. Wibit Inflatable Obstacle Course

The Aquatic Center, Bldg. 8897/95 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder, has a Wibit inflatable Obstacle Course for rent. Register with Landstuhl Youth Center

The Landstuhl Youth Center (LYC) is a facility for youth in grades 6th-12th that offers a wide range of programs and activities Monday through Friday, after school. This free program is available to youth who have a military affiliation in Germany. Homeschooled youth, and youth who attend either a German or DODEA school are welcome to join.
