Easter Brunch

The Armstrong’s Club is hosting an Easter Brunch March 31 with 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. seating times at the Armstrong’s Ballroom, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Easter Brunch at the Rheinlander

The Rheinlander Community Center is hosting an Easter Brunch on March 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The event will feature both an adult and kids buffet, as well as an Easter Egg Hunt for children that will begin at 1 p.m. The Easter Egg Hunt and visit with the Easter Bunny is for Brunch Guests. Cost is $22.50 for 18 and older, $12 for ages five to 17, and free for ages under five. Registration is not required, and payment is at the door. Sippin’ Tea with EFMP

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz and the 86th Force Support Squadron Exceptional Family Member Program are hosting “Sippin’ Tea with EFMP” the fourth Tuesday of every month (except federal holidays) from 4 to 5 p.m. This is a support group to meet new friends and explore valuable community information, resources, and referrals available in the Kaiserslautern Military Community. Youth Sports Bowling Clinic on Ramstein

The Baumholder Youth Sports and Fitness Program is offering a brand new Youth Sports Bowling Clinic taught by experienced volunteer bowling coaches at the Ramstein Bowling Center, Bldg. 2139 on Ramstein Air Base. Registration is March 11 to 31. The clinic will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month of April. The clinic will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. for ages 8 to 11, and 5 to 6 p.m. for ages 12 to 15. Youth bowlers must be enrolled with the Parent Central Services in Baumholder. Adventures of Mr. Toad Performances

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage is pleased to celebrate Month of the Military Child with their Spring Youth Performance, “The Adventures of Mr. Toad” (A musical update to “The Wind in the Willows”) April 5 to 7 and April 12 to 14 at the KMC Onstage Studio, KCAC, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. Sauerkraut & Sunshine Comedy Show

Annick Adelle set to headline the Sauerkraut & Sunshine Comedy Show April 19 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh. Adventures in Bookland at the Landstuhl Library

Scrabble Masters Tournament “Soldier Style”

Join the Baumholder Warrior Zone for Scrabble Masters “Soldier Style” April 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. Registration is March 26 to April 17. Cost is $10 during registration period. Late registration can only be done April 18 with the cost of $15. Open to all DOD ID card holders who 18 and older. Prize for the overall winner. Prepare with Pedro Storytime

The Baumholder Library has partnered with the American Red Cross to bring “Prepare with Pedro,” fire prevention storytime! Pedro is a penguin who loves being prepared to act in case of an emergency. Join us in the Imagination Room on April 23 at 4 p.m. to meet Pedro and learn about fire safety, fire prevention and what to do in the case of a fire. This program is free and for all ages! Youth Sports Spring Registration

Registration for spring youth sports open now to Feb. 29 or when teams are full. Sports offered on Landstuhl Post and Sembach Kaserne vary for ages 5 to 15 are baseball, softball, and soccer. Golf for ages 8 to 15 will be offered on Ramstein Air Base. Track and Field for ages 8 to 15 will offered at Kaiserslautern High School. Cost is $65 and up. A Health Assessment/Sports Physical is required, and must be on file and good through June 15, at time of registration. Baseball & Soccer Start Smart Registration

Start Smart Baseball and Soccer registration for Kaiserslautern is now until March 29 or when slots are full. Cost is $30. Start Smart is a parent/ child interactive program for 3- to 4-year-olds, led by a Sports/ Fitness Specialist. Sessions offered on Landstuhl Post. Baseball will be held in March, and Soccer will be in April. Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club

The Armstrong’s Club has free dance lessons in six-week sessions now to March 20, and April 3 to May 8. The classes are on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Focus is on Two Step, Swing and Line Dancing. Thirteen other styles of dance are available on request. Wear smooth bottomed shoes. Rubber souled athletic shoes are not ideal for dancing. Baumholder Late Night Basketball

The Late-Night Basketball season is until March at the Halll of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The next one is March 29. This is a free event for ID card holders, ages 18 and older. Registration is required, and players must signup individually at the Hall of Champions on game dates. SKIES & KMC Onstage 2024 Winter/Spring Youth Theater Classes

The SKIES Unlimited Program and the Award-Winning KMC Onstage announces the 2024 Winter/Spring Youth Theater Classes for youth ages 5 to 18 at the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. Registration has started, and classes are now to March 19. All participants must be registered with Army MWR Child and Youth Services. Bookmark Decorating Contest at the Baumholder Library

The Baumholder library is hosting a Bookmark Decorating Contest for the entire month of March.  Until March16, patrons can submit bookmark designs by age categories: 0-5, 6-9, 10-12, 13-17, and 18 and older.  From March 17-31, bookmark designs will be put on display at the CMR, where the community can cast their votes for their favorite bookmark design. Red Pin Bowling

Red Pin Bowling happens every Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Bowlers who make a strike while the head pin is red, will receive a free game coupon. The red pin will be randomly placed as the head pin. For more information, visit baumholder.armymwr.com.

Chuck’s Pub Trivia at Armstrong’s Club

Armstrong’s Club announces Chuck’s Pub Trivia every Friday from 7 to 10 p.m., Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. This trivia is a professional, multi-media competition with different formats and puzzles for teams to solve. Bring a team or join one. Grand prize is $50. Full Nerd Friday

The time has come for “Revenge of the Nerds” every Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Baumholder Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. Bring Your Own Board Game at Strikers Bowling Center

The Pinsetters’ Pub has Bring Your Own Board Game every Friday at 5 p.m. until closing. This is a free event and preregistration is not required. All gamers, 18 and older, are welcome.
