Thursday Night Comedy Show
A rising comedy star with a hit Radio 4 Series, Njambi McGrath, headlines the Thursday Comedy Show March 20 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Host is Erin Crouch. Gold Star Spouses Day Recognition Ceremony
Army Community Service is hosting a Gold Star Spouses Day Recognition Ceremony and Bench Dedication April 2 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Sembach Chapel, Bldg. 118 on Sembach Kaserne. This event is open to the public, and honors all Survivors, but it is specifically in recognition of Gold Star Spouses Day, which is April 5. Easter Brunch at Armstrong’s Club
Hop on over to the Easter Brunch April 20 with 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. seating times at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Cost is 32€ for ages 18 and older, 18€ for ages 12 to 17, 6€ for ages six to 11, and free for ages five and younger. Tickets will be available until close of business April 17. The Easter Bunny will make a visit and handing out Easter eggs to all the children at the brunch. Patrons can also take photos with the Easter Bunny. Sketch Masters
The Baumholder Library hosts Sketch Masters the last Friday of every month from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Tavern on the Rock in the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. Youth Sports Spring Registration for youth ages 5 to 15 is now to Feb. 28 (or until teams are full). Sports offered are Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Golf and Track & Field. School Age Summer Camps
Registration is now open for the Army Family and MWR Child and Youth Services School Age Programs’ Vision 2025 “Shaping Our Future” Summer Camps. Spring German Hunting Course in Baumholder & Kaiserslautern
A spring German hunting course will be held March 1 to May 17 in Baumholder. Registration is now until the first day of class. The German Hunting Course is an intensive program. 2025 AER Campaign
The 2025 Army Emergency Relief Campaign is scheduled from March 1 to June 14 for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities. AER is a private, nonprofit organization established in 1942 to assist Soldiers and their families during financial emergencies. To contribute to the 2025 AER Campaign, Soldiers and supporters can donate online via the AER website, set up payroll deductions through DFAS allotment, participate in peer-to-peer campaigns, or mail a check. Start Smart Registration
Registration for Start Smart baseball and soccer for ages 3 and 4 is now to March 21 or when slots are full. Cost is $30. Start Smart is a parent/child interactive program lead by a Sports and Fitness Specialist. Bookmark Decorating Contest at the Baumholder Library
The Baumholder library is hosting a Bookmark Decorating Contest for the entire month. From March 1 to 16, patrons can submit bookmark designs by age categories: 0-5, 6-9, 10-12, 13-17, and 18+. From March 17-31, bookmark designs will be voted on by the community. Winners from each age category will get their bookmarks printed, and bookmarks given away at the library. 500/1000 Pound Club
Registration for the 500/1000 Pound Club is March 3 to 27 at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3234/3235 on Kleber Kaserne. Register with Landstuhl Youth Center
The Landstuhl Youth Center (LYC) is a facility for youth in grades 6th-12th that offers a wide range of programs and activities Monday through Friday, after school. This free program is available to youth who have a military affiliation in Germany. Homeschooled youth, and youth who attend either a German or DODEA school are welcome to join.
