Military Spouse Appreciation Month

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR has several events planned to celebrate spouses in the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities during May, Military Spouse Appreciation Month. Summer Bazaar

The Summer Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. It’s happening Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4 at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. 2023 IMCOM-Europe Cycling Challenge

The 2023 IMCOM Europe Cycling Challenge is happening now until Sep. 8. Participants must sign up through Baumholder or Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation. Registration fee is $50. For more information, visit baumholder.armymwr.com or kaiserslautern.armymwr.com.

Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign will showcase events for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern Military Communities now until June 4. STRONG B.A.N.D.S. – STRONG Balance, Activity, Nutrition, Determination and Strength – promotes healthy, active lifestyles for Army communities. Kleber Java Café Reopens

The Java Café, located inside KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne, reopens Wednesday, May 17. The first 50 customers who say “Welcome Back” will receive a 20 percent discount on this opening day. Hours are 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday to Friday, and closed weekends and federal holidays. Motorcycle Lift Now Available

Pulaski Automotive Skills now offers a motorcycle lift for customers to use on a self-help basis from Monday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lift fee is $10 per hour. Towing Services Now Available

Towing Services will be available at Pulaski Auto Skills starting June 1. The service will be available from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prices vary based on location of vehicles. Fall Army Youth Sports Registration

Registration for fall Army youth sports opens June 1 to July 14 or when teams are full. Sports offered are Soccer, Golf, Volleyball, Cross Country, Flag and Tackle Football. Practice locations, ages and prices vary depending on the sport. A Health Assessment/ Sports Physical must be on file and good through Nov. 15. Best Country Western Night in Germany

The Legendary Country Western Night returns to the Kazabra Club starting Saturday, June 3. This tradition returns every Saturday night from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dance instructions are offered to help everyone get up and join in. Baumholder Summer Reading Program

The Baumholder Library announces the Anime Club for those ages 12 to 16 who like reading manga or watching anime June 13 and July 11 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. This club is a part of the 2023 Summer Reading Program “Find Your Voice.” Come together to do crafts, learn how to draw a character, learn about Japanese culture, participate in games, watch anime and chat with other anime fans. Baumholder Library Summer Reading Program Enhanced Storytime with Guest

SKIES 2023 Soccer Summer Camps

SKIES Unlimited is offering Soccer Summer Camps in Baumholder and Kaiserslautern for youth ages 2 to 16 from June 12 to Aug. 18 at Pulaski Field, Landstuhl Adult Softball Field or Minick Field.

Soldier and Family Readiness Forum

The Army Community Service is hosting a free Soldier and Family Readiness Forum on May 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Center, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The forum will feature speakers and resources providing essential training for deployment, sponsorship, stress management, new families, and SFRGs. AER Campaign 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

The Rolling Hills Golf Course is hosting the Army Emergency Relief Campaign 2nd Annual Golf Tournament Friday, May 12 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the golf course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder. The Rolling Hills Army Golf Course club house is available for rent. The club house can accommodate up to 60 people. Officially Establish Your Golf Handicap at Rolling Hills Army Golf Course

The Rolling Hills Army Golf Course now offers the chance to officially establish your handicap through the United States Golf Association and Texas Golf Association. The handicap runs from January to December each year and costs $26. Health and Wellness Coaching

Yoga and Massage Studio now offers health and wellness coaching with a board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician. The 45-minute sessions begin in January and end in May and will be held Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon.
