Summer Bazaar

Experience the Summer Bazaar, an enticing destination for shoppers seeking a variety of European delights for family and friends. Hosted by Family & MWR, the event runs from Friday, June 7, through Sunday, June 9, at the Special Events Center, Bldg. 237, Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Shopping hours span from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Wander through an array of vendors offering pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and more, evoking the essence of summertime bliss.  All transactions are conducted in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards being the accepted forms of payment. Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign will showcase events for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern Military Communities from May 1 to May 30. STRONG B.A.N.D.S. — STRONG Balance, Activity, Nutrition, Determination and Strength — promotes healthy, active lifestyles for Army communities. It helps motivate Army Soldiers, Families, Retirees and Civilians to get and stay fit. Kaiserslautern Fall Youth Sports Registration

Registration for the Kaiserslautern Fall Youth Sports opens June 3 to July 12 or when teams are full.  Sports offered are Soccer, Flag Football, Cheer, Volleyball, Cross Country, Pom Dance and Tackle Football. Cost: $65 & up. Minimum age requirements vary by sports. A Sports Physical good through Nov. 15 is required. Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club

New open session of free dance lessons every Wednesday from May 15 to July 17. The dance class starts at 7 p.m.  There will not be dance lessons from July 24 to Aug. 7, due to summer break. Family Color Fun Run

The Baumholder Youth Center is hosting an end of the school year 3K Family Color Fun Run June 5 from noon to 5 p.m. starting at the youth center, Bldg. 8875 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder. The run is open to all families and youth in the Baumholder community. Registration is not required. Participants just show up at noon to walk/run the 3K color course. Financial “Jiu Jitsu”

The Kaiserslautern Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers Program and Army Community Service Financial Office are providing free monthly financial classes. This class will help eligible BOSS service members learn about a wide range of financial topics, as well as offering an open forum style conversation to answer any finance questions. The first class is Thursday, June 6, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at ACS, Bldg. 3210 on Kleber Kaserne. Bowl and Bond with Dad

“Strike” up some fun with the Exceptional Family Member Program at Bowl and Bond with Dad June 13 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Vogelweh Bowling Center, Bldg. 2060 on Vogelweh. This free event will be a fun night of bowling celebrating our Superhero dads (and moms too). “Pin-credible” fun awaits that encourages good sportsmanship, gross motor skills, social engagement, and provides stress relief. Paws on the Patio

Grab your four-legged BFF and head to the Baumholder Warrior Zone’s outdoor patio the first Saturday in June, July, and August from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The Warrior Zone will have beverages for purchase inside for the two-legged guests, and some *free* special treats for their furry friends too! Beard Brigade Comedy Show

Derek Sheen set to headline the Beard Brigade Comedy Show June 28 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057, Vogelweh. The show will feature Lucy Tollefson and Greg Houston. Kaiserslautern Late Night Basketball

Got Game? Want more court time? How about late-night hoops? Kaiserslautern Intramural Sports announces Late Night Basketball starting June 28 from 9 p.m. to midnight at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3235 on Kleber Kaserne. This event will happen the last Friday of each month from 9 p.m. to midnight at the Kleber PFC. Registration is not required. Swap it like It’s Hot

Join in the fun at the Baumholder Library’s first ever swap event June 29 from 1 to 3 p.m.  Bring books, clothes, and toys and swap with others! 2024 Summer Reading Program Trash Art Club

The Baumholder Library is hosting Trash Art Club for ages 8 to 14 June 11 and 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the library Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. This is a Baumholder Library 2024 Summer Reading Program exclusive craft club that uses only recycled or repurposed materials to make art.  This program is drop-in, and registration not needed. Red Pin Bowling

Red Pin Bowling happens every Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Bring Your Own Board Game at Strikers Bowling Center

The Pinsetters’ Pub has Bring Your Own Board Game every Friday at 5 p.m. until closing. This is a free event and preregistration is not required. All gamers, 18 and older, are welcome. Food is available at Shawingz until 9 p.m. There are large and small tables provided for game play, and fabulous music to provide the right atmosphere for playing.
