Baumcon – Baumholder Comic Book Convention

The 16th Sustainment Brigade Baum-holder is sponsoring the Baumholder Comicon event May 20-21, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Hall of Champions, Smith Barracks. The admission is free, and there will be a costume, art, and trivia contest, cosplay, gaming, comics, crafts, and much more! Military Spouse Appreciation Month

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR has several events planned to celebrate spouses in the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities during May, Military Spouse Appreciation Month. Family and MWR Community Expo: Celebrating Military Spouses

On May 26, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., spend your lunch hour with Family and MWR celebrating military spouses, the heart of the community! Meet representatives from Family and MWR programs and local community partners, learn about programs and services available to the military community, enjoy giveaways, and the chance to win great prizes, including the grand prize of $500 in European Travel through Army Outdoor Recreation! Summer Bazaar

The Summer Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. It’s happening Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4 at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. 2023 IMCOM-Europe Cycling Challenge

Jekyll and Hyde, the Musical Performance

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign will showcase events for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern Military Communities now until June 4. Army Start Smart Summer Registration

Registration for Start Smart Summer sessions for ages 3 to 4 is June 1 to July 21 or until slots are full. Start Smart is a parent/child interactive program lead by a Sports and Fitness Specialist. Summer Sessions will feature soccer, golf, and basketball. Cost is $30. Army Youth Summer Activity Registration

Registration for summer youth activities opens June 1 to July 15 or until slots are full. All camps are $45 and facilitated on Landstuhl, except for golf, which will be on Ramstein Air Base. The Baumholder Library announces the enhanced story time with special guest June 22 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. This week, we are joined by Jessie Dayton from the Hall of Champions. He will tell us about the importance of fitness and exercise and will help the children to grow to new heights by learning what their bodies can do. Army Intramural Unit Level Soccer Season

The Baumholder Intramural Sports Program announces the upcoming Intramural Unit Level Soccer Season from June 21 to Aug. 25. Registration is from June 1 to 13 at Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center. Mandatory Coaches Meeting is June 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hall of Champions. Juneteenth Golf Scramble

The Rolling Hills Golf Course is celebrating Juneteenth with a Juneteenth Golf Scramble Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the golf course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel. This is an 18-hole, four-person teams, scramble-format tournament. Open Mic/Poetry Slam

Calling all poets, artists, and deep thinkers for the Open Mic/Poetry Slam Event Friday, June 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Baumholder Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. This event is open to individuals, 18 and older, who hold a valid U.S. ID Card, as well as their guests. Jono Duffy Comedy Show

The Kazabra Club presents the Jono Duffy Comedy show June 23 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets are only $10 at the door. Headliner Jono Duffy is an award-winning Australian comedian who is based in Paris. Local legend and KMC Onstage performer Staff Sgt Devyn Freeze brings her hosting skills to the stage at Kazabra for the first time. The show will also feature Pat Moore, from the San Francisco Bay area and who has a stand-up career in Berlin. Disc Golf Tournament

The Rolling Hills Golf Course is hosting a two-day Disc Golf Tournament Saturday and Sunday, May 20 and 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the golf course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. Registration is now until May 15. Golfers must be 18 and older. Cost is $8 for each day. Golfers will play 18 holes each day. To register, call the golf course at 531-3408 or 0611-143-531-3408.

The Rolling Hills Army Golf Course club house is available for rent. The club house can accommodate up to 60 people. Officially Establish Your Golf Handicap at Rolling Hills Army Golf Course

The Rolling Hills Army Golf Course now offers the chance to officially establish your handicap through the United States Golf Association and Texas Golf Association. The handicap runs from January to December each year and costs $26. Health and Wellness Coaching

Yoga and Massage Studio now offers health and wellness coaching with a board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician. The 45-minute sessions begin in January and end in May and will be held Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon.
