Summer Bazaar

Experience the Summer Bazaar, an enticing destination for shoppers seeking a variety of European delights for family and friends. Hosted by Family & MWR, the event runs from Friday, June 7, through Sunday, June 9, at the Special Events Center, Bldg. 237, Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Shopping hours span from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Wander through an array of vendors offering pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and more, evoking the essence of summertime bliss.  All transactions are conducted in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards being the accepted forms of payment. Beard Brigade Comedy Show

Derek Sheen set to headline the Beard Brigade Comedy Show June 28 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057, Vogelweh. The show will feature Lucy Tollefson and Greg Houston. SKIES & KMC Onstage 2024 Youth Summer Theatre Camps

The SKIES Unlimited Program and the Award-Winning KMC Onstage announces the 2024 Youth Summer Theatre Camps for ages 6 to 18 at the KMC Onstage Main Stage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. These classes are open to all ID card holders from all branches of service. Youth must be registered with Parent Central Services in advance to participate.  Registration for Session I (June 10-14) is open and ongoing. For Session II (Aug. 5-9), registration starts July 1. SKIES 2024 Soccer Summer Camps

SKIES Unlimited is offering Soccer Summer Camps for youth ages 3 to 16 from June 10 to Aug.14 at the Pulaski Field and Landstuhl Adult Softball Field.  Open to all ID card holders from all branches of service.  All participants must be registered with Army MWR Child and Youth Services. 4th of July Golf Scramble

Celebrate the 248th Independence Day of the USA with the 4th of July Golf Scramble Saturday, July 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. Hideaway Bistro & Grill’s New Menu

The Hideaway Bistro & Grill, located inside the Armstrong’s Club, has launched a new menu featuring mouthwatering pizzas, gourmet burgers, crispy fries, crispy catfish fillets, fresh salads, and refreshing tea and lemonade. Starting June 15, Hideaway Bistro & Grill will be handing out gift-scratch cards to their customers with prizes for their next orders: Prizes like free chocolate lava cake, two lemonades or sodas, deep fried apple pie or Oreo cookie ice cream.  Hideaway Bistro & Grill offers delivery to Vogelweh Housing, Rhine Ordnance Barracks and Kapaun gate. 10-Minute Plays Performances

KMC Onstage Studio finishes out the season with its annual 10-Minute Plays May 31 to June 2. Show times are 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. These plays are by new directors in the KMC area. Shows are a mix of comedy and drama and may push the envelope a bit! These performances are presented in cooperation with the KMC Onstage Directing and Stage Management Workshops. Advance purchase: $15/$13 ages 2-18, 65+, students; At the door: $17/$15. Youth Sports Summer Camp Registration

The Baumholder Youth Sports and Fitness Program announces registration for Youth Sports Summer Camp from June 3 to June 30. The following Summer Camps are being offered: Ultimate Sports (ages 5-15)- Fee: $30; Ultimate Golf- (ages 8-15)- Fee: $30; Basketball- (ages 5-15)- Fee: $30; Swimming (ages 3-15)- Fee: $55 and, Start Smart (ages 3-4)- Fee: $30. DJ J Smooth at the Tavern on the Rock

DJ J Smooth will be spinning a variety of music at the Tavern on the Rock bar the first Friday of the month  from 6 p.m. to midnight, starting June 7. There is not an entrance fee. Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club

New open session of free dance lessons every Wednesday now to July 17. The dance class starts at 7 p.m.  There will not be dance lessons from July 24 to Aug. 7, due to summer break. Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation is offering “Got a case of the Monday’s…Come ride it out with us!” weekly bike rides every Monday from now until  Aug. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. throughout multiple trails, ranging from 10KM to 25KM. Trip departs and returns at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation, Bldg. 2905 on Pulaski Barracks. Cost is $5 to rent a standard bike or $10 for an E-Bike.  If you are registered for the IMCOM Bike Challenge, this ride is a great opportunity to earn miles/kms towards your 1000KM! 2024 IMCOM-Europe Cycling Challenge

The 2023 IMCOM Europe Cycling Challenge is happening now until Aug. 31.  Participants must sign up through Baumholder or Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation. Registration fee is $50. Wibit Inflatable Obstacle Course

The Aquatic Center, Bldg. 8897/95 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder, has a Wibit inflatable Obstacle Course for rent. Price for Inflatables is $100 flat fee for two hours plus the $75 an hour Pool Rental Fee. If time extends past the 2 hours, it is $75 an hour extra. Kaiserslautern Fall Youth Sports Registration

Registration for the Kaiserslautern Fall Youth Sports opens June 3 to July 12 or when teams are full.  Sports offered are Soccer, Flag Football, Cheer, Volleyball, Cross Country, Pom Dance and Tackle Football. Cost: $65 & up. Minimum age requirements vary by sports. A Sports Physical good through Nov. 15 is required. Red Pin Bowling

Red Pin Bowling happens every Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Bring Your Own Board Game at Strikers Bowling Center

The Pinsetters’ Pub has Bring Your Own Board Game every Friday at 5 p.m. until closing. This is a free event and preregistration is not required. All gamers, 18 and older, are welcome. Food is available at Shawingz until 9 p.m. There are large and small tables provided for game play, and fabulous music to provide the right atmosphere for playing. Full Nerd Friday

The time has come for “Revenge of the Nerds” every Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Baumholder Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks.
