Military Spouse Appreciation Month

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR has several events planned to celebrate spouses in the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities during May, Military Spouse Appreciation Month. Summer Bazaar

The Summer Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. It’s happening Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4 at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. 2023 IMCOM-Europe Cycling Challenge

The 2023 IMCOM Europe Cycling Challenge is happening now until Sep. 8. Participants must sign up through Baumholder or Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation. Registration fee is $50. For more information, visit baumholder.armymwr.com or kaiserslautern.armymwr.com.

Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign will showcase events for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern Military Communities now until June 4. STRONG B.A.N.D.S. – STRONG Balance, Activity, Nutrition, Determination and Strength – promotes healthy, active lifestyles for Army communities. Rheinlander Community Center to host Mother’s Day Brunch

The Rheinlander Community Center is hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch May 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center, building 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The cost of the brunch is $22.50 for those who are 18 and older, $12 for ages 6 to 17, and free for children under the age of 5. Guests can enjoy a variety of great food, desserts. KMC Onstage 10-Minute Play Performances

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage presents their annual 10-Minute Plays June 2 to 4 at the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. Shows are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. 2023 Youth Sports Summer Camp Registration

Family 3K Color Fun Run

School age and high school youth and their families are encouraged to participate in the free 3K Color Fun Run June 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Youth Center, Bldg. 8875 on Wetzel Kaserne. Summer Reading “Find Your Voice” Launch Party

Join the Summer Reading launch party at the Landstuhl Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sign up at the Beanstack website (https://rheinland-pfalz.beanstack.org/) and receive an official T-shirt and calendar of events while supplies last. The Rolling Hills Golf Course is celebrating the 248th U.S. Army Birthday with a golf scramble June 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost varies depending on membership and active-duty rank. Southern Cuisine at Sembach Community Activity Center

The restaurant at the Sembach Community Activity Center serves Southern Cuisine every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bldg. 220 on Sembach Kaserne. Intramural Unit Level Softball

The Kaiserslautern Intramural Sports Program announces the registration for the upcoming Intramural Unit Level Softball Season, now until May 16. Letter of Intent is available at the Kleber, Sembach, Landstuhl and ROB Physical Fitness Centers. These letters of intent must be submitted by the mandatory coaches meeting, which will be May 17 at 7 p.m. at the Kleber Fitness Center, Bldg. 3235/3234 on Kleber Kaserne. Baumholder Intramural Unit Level 2023 Softball Season

The Baumholder Intramural Sports 2023 Softball Season registration will take place now until May 16. Interested participants can obtain letters of intent at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. This event is open to ID Cardholders aged 18 years and older, excluding those with High School or CYS affiliations. Parent Education Series

Baumholder Child and Youth Services and ACS Family Advocacy Program are partnering to bring the free Parent Education Series, which will be held the third Thursday of each month from May to July at ACS, Bldg. 8666 on Smith Barracks. Classes are 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The goal of the series is to provide parents, expecting parents and those considering becoming parents, resources that they can use to ease the challenges of parenting. Registration for Start Smart baseball for ages 3 to 4 is May 1 to 28 or when sessions are full. Sessions will be offered during the month of June. Cinco de Mayo Fiesta

Join the festivities of the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta — “Bienvenido a Mexico” May 5 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, located at Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Participants are invited to bring beans to play Loteria, a Bingo-style game, for a chance to win the pot, with each card costing $5. Remember to drink responsibly. Single Soldier Day

The Baumholder Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers is hosting a Single Soldier Day May 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hall of Champions and Minick Field. The Rolling Hills Army Golf Course club house is available for rent. The club house can accommodate up to 60 people. Officially Establish Your Golf Handicap at Rolling Hills Army Golf Course

The Rolling Hills Army Golf Course now offers the chance to officially establish your handicap through the United States Golf Association and Texas Golf Association. The handicap runs from January to December each year and costs $26. Health and Wellness Coaching

Yoga and Massage Studio now offers health and wellness coaching with a board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician. The 45-minute sessions begin in January and end in May and will be held Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon.
