Halloween Karaoke & Costume Contest

Tavern on the Rock is hosting a Halloween Karaoke & Costume Contest Oct. 26, 9 p.m. -2 a.m. at the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Costume signups will begin at 9 p.m. at the door. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. There will be karaoke, food, and drinks. This event is for 18 and older. Weekly Yoga Classes-Tuesday & Thursday

Two new yoga classes are now available in the Baumholder community. Every Tuesday, 6:30 -7:45 p.m., enjoy Soft & Slow Yoga, and every Thursday, 6:30-7:45 p.m., Yoga Balance. Hispanic Heritage Month Staged Reading

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special free staged reading and cast talkback of two short plays by Alvaro Saar Rios, bringing to life the stories of Hispanic culture, directed by and featuring members of the Latinx community! Both plays will be read by actors, followed by an interactive Q&A session and audience talkback. Use your Voice: Submit ideas to Improve your Community

Individuals can make a difference in the lives of Army Families by submitting issues for the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz fiscal year 2025 Army Family Action Plan conference. Army Family Action Plan provides Soldiers, Army Civilians, Family members, Survivors, and Retirees a voice by Identifying quality of life and readiness issues for Army Senior Leadership resolution. Issues can be submitted now until October online through the Army Family Web Portal at https://ims.armyfamilywebportal.com. Submission deadline is Oct. 9. Issues will also be accepted in person at ACS buildings 3210 on Kleber Kaserne and Bldg. 8666 on Smith Barracks. 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

Registration for the USAG Rheinland-Pfalz 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is until Sep. 13 at the Kleber or Mountaineer Physical Fitness Centers. The tournament takes place Sep. 28 at the Kleber Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 3235 on Kleber Kaserne. Coaches meeting at 9 a.m. Games starts at 10 a.m. Cost is $35 per team. Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show Registration

Registration for the Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show is now until Sep. 14. Cost is $10 per vehicle. The car show is Sep. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Pulaski Automotive Skills Center’s parking lot in front of building 2859 on Pulaski Barracks. Theatre Tech Boot Camp

The award-winning KMC Onstage is hosting Theatre Tech Boot Camp for ages 14 and older Sep. 14 and 15 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the KMC Onstage Main Stage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne.  Attendees will learn all about what happens backstage and behind the scenes in four sessions: Cost is $15 per session or save $10 by getting all four sessions for $50. 6 vs. 6 Dodgeball Tournament on The Rock

A free “6 vs. 6 Dodgeball Tournament on The Rock” is Sep. 14 starting at 8 a.m. on the basketball court in the Hall of Championships Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Tournament is limited to the first 32 teams to preregister at the Hall of Champions by 5 p.m. on Sep. 6. Team captains’ meeting is Sep. 14 at 8 a.m. in Hall of Champions. KMC Onstage The Rocky Horror Shadow Show Auditions

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage announces auditions for ages 18 and older The Rocky Horror Shadow Show 7 p.m. on Sep. 16 at the KMC Onstage Studio, inside the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. and Sep. 17 at the Baumholder Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks.  Auditions will consist of reading from the script and performing dance combos. SNEAK PREVIEW Tournament of Tiny Plays

Come see a SNEAK PREVIEW of our Tiny Plays BEFORE they debut! Eight Tiny Plays (10-30 minutes each), directed by expert local directors, are the KMC Onstage’s season opener, but you can get a first look at selected Tiny Plays Sep. 21 at 9:30 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing.  Cost is $15 per ticket plus cash bar, and restaurant food will be available for purchase.  Tickets available at Armstrong’s Club and at KMC Onstage Box Office, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Gold Star Mothers and Family Day Recognition Ceremony

Army Community Service is hosting a Gold Star Mothers and Family Day Recognition Ceremony Sep. 27 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the pavilion in Pulaski Park on Pulaski Barracks. This event is open to the public, and honors all Survivors, but it is specifically in recognition of Gold Star Mothers and Family Day, which is the last Sunday in September.  A bench dedication to Survivors will be held at the event. Landstuhl Library Baby Brillance Storytime

Baby Brilliance Storytimes returns in September and will be held every Thursday of the month starting at 11 a.m. at the Landstuhl Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post. This is a fun storytime for ages birth to 18 months with songs, fingerplays and more. Signups are not required. Storytimes will not take place on Federal Holidays. Strikers Bowling Center Duty Bowl & Two for Tuesday

Duty Bowl for service members in uniform is only $5 per hour and per lane every day at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. All Soldiers “duty” bowling must be in duty uniform. Two for Tuesday special will be $2 per game and $2 shoe rentals from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Tuesday. Red Pin Bowling

Red Pin Bowling happens every Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Full Nerd Friday

The time has come for “Revenge of the Nerds” every Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Baumholder Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. This is a free event for 18 and older, and registration is not required. There will be a full assortment of table-top, role-playing games, board games, video games. Come one, come all in Cosplay! Friday Pool Tournament

The Landstuhl Community Club hosts a free pool tournament every Friday from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the club, Bldg. 3780 on Landstuhl Post. Sign-up is at 6 p.m., with the tournament beginning at 6:30 p.m. Prizes are 1st place $50; 2nd place $25; and 3rd place $10. Contestants must be 18 years or older.
