Comedian icon D.L. Hughley will perform free for adult ID cardholders Monday at the Ramstein Enlisted Club. The show will be headed up by Armed Forces Entertainment and the 86th Services Squadron.
Mr. Hughley is one of the most popular and highly recognized stand-up comedians. He is a huge hit with live audiences with his unique and cutting edge comedy, filling out concert halls and headlining comedy clubs across the country.
The comedian spent four successful years starring in his own sitcom “The Hughleys,” and showed no signs of slowing down. It was the mega-hit “Original Kings of Comedy” that launched D.L. into superstardom. The “Original Kings of Comedy” national tour sold out at most of the major concert arenas in over 50 cities across the country.
Mr. Hughley wowed audiences in films The Brothers, Cloud Nine, and Doubting Thomas. He has also hosted various television programs such as HBO’s Def Comedy Jam and the BET Awards.
He can currently be heard on the New York airwaves, as host of the morning show on WYKS-FM.
Mr. Hughley’s 10-day tour will also entertain American troops at various locations in the United Kingdom and Germany. The show will be open to everyone ages 18 and older.
Armed Forces Entertainment hosts more than 1,200 shows around the world each year, reaching over 500,000 personnel at 270 military installations. Entertainment has long been one of the biggest morale boosters for U.S military personnel serving overseas.
