James Alston, 603rd Air and Space Operations Center integrated air and missile defense technician, joins disco superstar Gloria Gaynor on stage for a duet of “I’ll Be There” during a Dec. 25 event at U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz. Gaynor performed on Christmas for service members, staff and families at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center as part of U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz’s Army Substance Abuse Program. The free event, titled “You Are Not Alone,” included Gaynor sharing her survival story and stories from her new book. She also sang a few songs, including her disco hit, “I Will Survive.”
