VES registering for 2009-2010 year
Vogelweh Elementary School is currently taking registrations for the 2009-2010 school year. If you have not registered your child, stop by the school today. Registration hours are from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call Julie Covert at 0631-536-6810 for the required items needed to submit or if you have any questions.
SOAR deadlines
SOAR applications are due to the education office no later than Sept. 11. Any applicants requesting waivers must have them postmarked before Sept. 1. See your education counselors for guidance.
AF Commissioning Briefing
The monthly Air Force Commissioning Briefing will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in
Bldg. 2120, Room 415. If interested in applying for the AF Academy, LEAD, SOAR, ROTC, AECP and/or OTS, you should attend this briefing to find out about eligibility criteria and application procedures. No appointment is necessary.

New hours
Effective immediately, Ramstein Education Center’s Summer Schedule Customer Service walk-in hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Customers will be seen by appointment from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. E-mail education@
ramstein.af.mil. Starting Aug. 1, Kapaun Education Office hours will change. The office will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and Friday. Sembach Education Office hours will remain the same. Testing hours will also remain unchanged. For more information or to schedule a test, call 480-2032.
