After school study sessions
The Ramstein High School Administrative Study Group is an after-school study session program that is overseen by teachers, administrators and counselors.
Students can receive assistance, coaching and mentoring from professionals and from student tutors and community volunteers as they use this structured after-school time to catch up on missed assignments, make up quizzes and exams, and to study for future assignments.
This program is for RHS students and is offered from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. For more information, call 06371-405-8297 or 478-8297.

Volunteer opportunity
Ramstein Intermediate School will be using the Star Lab, an inflatable planetarium, from Jan. 11 to 15. Students can crawl through a tunnel into the dome area.
Once inside, a drum, which has holes for the constellations, rotates and shines the constellations on the walls above students’ heads.

Ramstein Intermediate School is looking for people who know astronomy to assist in running the lab.

Interested volunteers will need to point out constellations and share knowledge of the stories behind them. Volunteers can donate a full day, half day or several days.
This is a high interest activity among the staff and students.
If enough people volunteer, RIS can run the lab for several days. Training will be offered on the equipment on Saturday and Jan. 9. If interested or for more
information, contact Denise Light at Denise.Light@eu.dodea.edu.
