Energy Tip of the Week – August 9, 2024

  • If possible, wash laundry loads with only cold water.
  • If using hot/warm water is crucial, remember to use appropriate water-level settings on your washer machine.
  • Also remember, newer washer/dryer machines have ECO mode, which uses lower energy and water consumption.
  • And last, but not least, try out the “tried and true” method of hanging laundry outdoors, using wind and solar power to dry.
