The Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern will start its new play season and
celebrate its 10th anniversary with a theater fest Saturday.
Activities will begin at 2 p.m. with children’s activities outdoors.
In the foyer, the band French Touch will perform at 2:15 p.m., before
ballet director Eva Reinthaller and her dance ensemble “Compagnie” will
start the public ballet training.
A nostalgic costume show with precious items from the last 10 years is scheduled for 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.
A preview to the new program will be given with an opening concert at 8
p.m., and at 9:30 p.m. a special entertainment show will start.
In the theater’s Café Nostalgie a display with photos from “10 Years New Pfalztheater” will be set up.
Performing, directing and choir workshops will be conducted on the rehearsal stage.
Since the event is also an open house, visitors get to see places they normally do not.
The ticket office will be open, and the first performance will be Giacomo Puccini’s opera “Tosca” Sept. 24.
