Drive to see, drive to be seen
Do you remember taking your drivers test when you arrived?
According to USAFE Pamphlet 31-206 – Drivers Handbook, paragraph 2-20, lighting, vehicle headlights must be used at night, at dawn and at dusk.
Low-beam headlights must be used during the day when visibility is limited because of inclement weather (for example, fog, snow, rain).
At this time of year, the weather in Germany can change very quickly. Use your headlights when required, not just so you can see but also so you can be seen.
