Zero is the number
There’s a new slogan in the KMC, part of a campaign to promote a culture of responsible choices − 0-0-1-3. Each number stands for something.
We’ll discuss the first number, which represents a measurable goal: zero alcohol related misconduct. This misconduct creates extra work for many people including supervisors, first sergeants, and commanders, who have to spend valuable time dealing with it.
And, even worse, it often results in injury, sometimes even death. Ultimately, it detracts from our ability to perform the mission. That is why we all need to commit ourselves to meeting the goal: zero alcohol related misconduct.
